It's good. It helps a reader find a previous part they have not read or want to reread.
Guys, quick question. How do you like it when I provide a link to the previous part?
COOL AND AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE THE KIDS DONT DIE BUT AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with the saving theory. Personally, I believe that the I. rex should've been saved for the last few trailers. It was probably shown in this trailer because of all the leaks.
@Allotitan, I agree. The tin can part was funny.
Nice job again Mr. Happy! I can't wait for the next part. :)
@Mr.Happy9097 and @Tyrant King, I heard watching it is pure torture.
Still, it's nice to see a cool carnivore be the start of these again! :)
Yes. You did get my hopes up...
Still, new dinosaurs are AWESOME!!! However, I think we're not going to get any dinosaurs unlocked for February, but instead a bunch of other cool updates (I believe the Parasaurolophus icon was already there).
There are several that I am particularly fond of, dinosaurs stemming from my childhood like Diplodocus, Triceratops and Stegosaurus. I preferred the herbivores back that because I was afraid of the big carnivores lol. Dippy was just too big to be messed with while Triceratops and Stegasaurus were two the of the baddest herbivores to walk the planet. I remember watching a film in school in which a T. rex tried to prey on a Stegasaurus only to be knocked silly by that tail. The image of the big, bad Tyrannosaur having the taste slapped out of its mouth like that has stuck with me all of these years.
Fast forward in time and you'll find me taking a keen interest in Spinosaurus for reasons Ash already mentioned, Raptors of all kinds (I find their pack hunting particularly fascinating in addition to having speed, agility and that awesome scythe), and perhaps the most controversial dinosaur of them all, nanotyrannus.
Nanotyrannus fascinates me because it gives me the opportunity to study, learn and formulate my own ideas as so little is known about it. Is it a juvenile T. rex or isn't it? Who knows? We just don't have any sort of conclusive evidence pro or con which makes it an enigma. I am so totally fascinated by this little guy.
i cant seem to find the other icons but the indominus is now clickable. i think we know which dinos to expect for the next update. thanks for sharing this
Dryptosaurus certainly is a cool dinosaur.
Never seen Jersey Shore, but the Internet memes I've seen make me hate it.
Saving the best for last most likely.
Haha, it happens TK.
Thanks Allo, I try to throw in some stuff for comedic value from time to time.
They are probably saving her until closer to the movie release.
It was a reference to you getting the first comment so often lately. :P
haha my favorite dinosaurs are pretty much all ankylosaur(ids) but my favorite dinosaur is ankylosaurus, other than ankylosaurs i like triceratops, especially if there is maximus. My favorite meat eaters are:
torvosaurus, mapusaurus, chilantaisaurus, tarbosaurus, oxalaia, ekrixinatosaurus, titanovenator
tyrannosaurus
spinosaurus
giganotosaurus, utahraptor, carcharodontosaurus, yangchuanosaurus, allosaurus (i think allo is underrated)
seriously though, i like rex, but i don't think theres much competitionb between rex and spino. Rex advantages: powerful bite force, more sturdily and powerfully built
spino advantages: stronger (rex was stronger for ITS SIZE, but spino was at least 15 feet longer), larger, more powerful hand (claws), better in water
rex's only advantage, the bite force, is negfated a lot because even though spino has weaker jaws, they're still pretty strong and rex's other advantage, the more robust build, has already explained to be useless.
also, t rex may have had foot long teeth, but only about three inches stuck out from the gums. Also i like giga more than rex. same reasoning. btw jpcerato, i just think cerato has nothing on allo. Allo is a bigger, smarter, faster and more evolved ceratosaurus without the useless blunt nose horn. The two horns over cerato's eyes were probably eye crests, in which case allo had horns too. Check out this video to see what i mean.

btw, who are these two fanboys you are talking about?
Ah, you haven't done these in a while.
good god.....
i leave for fifteen minutes to pay clash of clans.
Great rap battle, I loved it.
It's a damn shame to see RexFan go, but maybe he'll be back one day. He was a great tribute to the forums, and he'll always be missed
Bravo Mr. Happy, another amazing part in the origins of Shadow Rex. The tin can part was hilarious! I can't wait for the next one.
What do you mean by take that?
oh yea and great work.
I need to see some rex reedemption.
Thank ou Mr. H. Also, I'm really excited for my own finale too. I'm actually writing it as we speak, so that's a thing.
@ gigadin, I agree with you in that.
I find the lack of Rex and/or Spino, disturbing.
Haha, lame knock off of a Vader quote out the way, I think that not putting them in the trailer makes people want to see then movie just to find out where Rex and Spino are. No Rex in the trailer, I bet Rex kicks some major ass in the movie. Rex Redemsion and then some.
First non author post.
Nice work as always Silver. Looking forward to seeing how season 1 ends.
Fan fiction is good.
Author's notes:
FIRST! (Take that TK!)
There are only two episodes left in season one, both of which should be out this week. And yes, I did say season one.
So, this chapter was a little different than the others, and is a sign of things to come. So, hold onto your butts.
Also, yes. This is set in the same universe as Jurassic World. I did say it was fan fiction.
That is all.
I liked the trailer and am still squealing like a girl over the raptors but there are a couple of things that caught the hairy eyeball from me; first is the apparent size of the Mosasaur. That great white looked like a goldfish in that shot. I can hear Howard Cosell in the back of my mind saying "Godzilla, you've got yourself some competition". Second is the lack of T. rex and Spino. Hey, those two are stars and the least they can do is an autograph signing. Finally, it is my understanding that I. rex has some sort of camoflage ability (correct me if I am wrong). Isn't this dude bad enough without it?
Oh well, I still enoyed the trailer and I have my raptors (dances like Snoopy atop Schroeder's' piano).
CARNOSAUR - This was extremely interesting and very informative! I always take a great deal of enjoyment from presentations such as these that you have created; they are incredibly thought provoking, well-worded, and based in established fact! I always know that I will not be steered incorrectly with on of your works! Speaking of such, does Lythronax actually mean "Gore King"? I ask because I have read conflicting statements. Thank you so much for producing and sharing this with us! :)
T-REX VS INDOMINUS REX! :D
Ridiculous and disappointing? Give me a break this thing looks and sounds fucking bad ass!! Have you even seen the super bowl tv spot that was shown? It shows more of the I-Rex and it's jaws and the overall seeping feeling of dread throughout anand I have HIGH hopes for this movie. As should you Dr. Malcolm. If you don't feel unbelievably ecstatic like me for a freaky sadistic genetic anomaly then you must have staggeringly high expectations for films and anything in the entertainment industry.
What are you..
FERNANDOSAURUS REX/RAPTOR-401, GOJIRA2K, PRIMAL KING, MR.HAPPY9097, and X_PADEN_X - I am so very proud of each of you for this excellent work! It moves me to see such a wonderful send-off for REX FAN 684! I...am still very pained for his choice to leave SCIFIED; however, I look forward unto the days ahead knowing that our journey has not yet come to an end. I will always do my best to remain here for you all; it brings me joy to hear your ideas and thoughts. I can not promise that I shall always remain, but I will not abandone any of you; I shall remain steadfast for my friends. Regardless of my sentimentality, I want to thank each of you for sharing this fantastic work with me and everyone else! :)
That rap battle was amazing!
Well done, even though I've never heard about someone stating that Lythronax was 9 m long.
@Carnosaur: Is the Carcharodontosaurus fanboy you were talking about Me Te?
@Topic: Farewell, RexFan. He'll be missed a lot. Even though we often were disagree, he was pretty friendly with me.
Farewell RexFan, and may your road bring you to warm sands.
I apologise for not getting my Farewell in there (My Email has a Mind of its own.)
To any that it concerns, This is to my knowledge, the Project of this Magnitude. We had a Bunch of people working on it.
I wouldn't Nessicerely say we had an Elected leader in the Project, But it took a lot of effort to Orchastrate this, And that alone is Impressive.
I wish to, Perhaps in the Future, Do another project of this Size.
Farewell RexFan.
Farewell.
So, How about maybe we take his Dedication and Imagination of Dinosaurs as a Inspiration for future projects?
We'll all be called to leave the Forum one day. It's innevitable. But will you go out Silently Or with a Bang?
