I think thedinosaurman has the right idea. This game will likely be more about puzzle-solving and running for your life than blasting raptors to studs. Some characters (Muldoon, Hamada, etc.) will probably have guns, but others like Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm will likely use their fists for fighting, and others still will have bizarre things, I:E: Eric with a jar of T. rex pee or something. We'll also probably get some more generic characters, like, for instance, ACU Solidiers and Dinosaur Trappers.
Also, LOPSQUID, picklepuss is an amazing word.
Guys, invisible fence technology exists in real life. This isn't some groundbreaking scientific feat, at least not for a while now. Here's a wikipedia page on the subject:

And here's the website of a company that you can get one from:
i agree, rex is going down hard. one saurophaganax could severely injure rex, two would easily win.

^Thanks SR! :) Sadly, there's only one part left (I'll probably get it done tonight). I'm not even sure how Night 7 will end. However, you won't be disappointed!
BREGO - good points. In the case of the Komodo Dragon, their bacteria-laden bite evolved to assist them in bringing down large mammals. Since the Dragon is cold blooded, it lacks the stamina to pursue large mammals...but it must feed on them, as small mammals are even quicker, and the Dragon itself is quite large (in size and appetite).
Therapod dinosaurs, we can assume, lived different lifestyles than the Komodo. They were not cold blooded animals that lacked the ability to pursue fast-moving prey. They were built for speed, tenacity, and visciousness. They were equally capable and inclined to scavange a meal as they were to bring down prey.
While it is anyone's guess if any particular species of dinosaur had "special features" like today's Komodo Dragon, or the Cobra...we can't assume anything along those lines. And we don't need to. Therapod dinosaurs do not leave us scratching our heads as to how they got by. It is reasonably understood (by any scientist not purposely trying to create controversy) that Therapod dinosaurs were both hunters and scavangers, much like a Lion.
Conversely, if we only had the fossil record of Komodo Dragon, and found the contents of Water Buffalo in their stomach...we'd be theorizing like crazy how a sluggish cold blooded oversized monitor lizard that hugs the ground, ever managed to prey on Water Buffalo.
I love the idea that when all other attempts to stop Indominus rex fail, they let Big Rexy out of her enclosure. She makes swift work of Indominus, and thats the ballgame.
Part of the reason I believe for making Indominus about the same size/weight as Rexy when the events of the movie take place, is to make it believable that Rexy could do her in.
Compared to JP3, that young T-rex never stood a chance against that monsterous Spino.
unfortunately I think this is it: https://t.co/MJNOifrEEv
Posted today, German dub of super bowl trailer. Really, they had to wait almost 2 months for a lame dubbed version of a 1 minute video?
All carvivores, even today, will actively hunt and or scavange. I think the closest we have to the behavior of Dinosaur carnivores is the Komodo Dragon. Carnivores tend to pick off the weak and sick. As (like the Komodo Dragon) most Carnivorous dinosaurs probably had a mouth full of deadly bacteria, one bite would all it would take. The Carnivore then simply needs to follow the prey until the bacteria weakens them to the point of helplessness. Then it's all over and a sometimes massive feast is on the buffet. Komodo Dragons can take down half tonne water buffalo using this method.
I truly hope this doesn't happen. After the travesty in J3, totally unrealistic and stupid. If it does though, I hope it foolishly attacks the TRex and at the last minute Rexie rips this stupid IRex's head off, then smashes the ficticious Spinosaurous sketeton into a thousand pieces.
SCI-FI KING25 - Hahaha! Mike is going to die from a massive heart attack before he lives to see the end of night 7! I really am enjoying this series! Thank you so very much for having taken the time to create and present this to us! :)
Good chance thats real. Its their official page. Thats a slightly different/newer still of Owen and Claire than what we've seen.
It says ready for adventure? Tomorrow comes the new trailer.
:O
These are awesome! Thanks for sharing them! :)
ok i join. but who is in charge after lord vader?
I don't think it's fake, but it might be the German Super bowl spot.
I think is fake.
From what it looks like, it'll be more of a puzzle/escape type game rather than shooting. Some of the characters will have guns obviously (Muldoon), and in the bacl left of the Triceratops picture you can see the target that appears in other games that activates something when shot at.
50 raptors VS Spinosarus = Spinosaurus, but if youre talking about JP raptors, then raptors
20 T-rexs Vs Male Muto = MUTO
Bronchiosarus Vs Robocop(old one) = Brachio stomps.
Gorgo Vs 3 T-rex = Gorgo
Qween Alien(Aliens,AVP) VS Spinosarus = Alien
Stegosarus VS Host(Host 2006) = Host
I rex VS me = ME with a rocken launcher or a minigun
DAMN DOUBLE POSTS!
whatever, here is a cool image
It's just a funny lego game sci fi don't be a picklepuss
50 raptors, hands-down.
Male MUTO, way too one-sided. The MUTO is about ten times the size of a Tyrannosaurus.
Bronchiosaurus? Brachiosaurus? Still, the dinosaur would win.
Hmm... Probably Gorgo.
Alien Queen.
Host.
Me. I choose a nuke.
There is some guns, like when Muldoon tried to shoot the Big One... and a banana came out... and the raptor had fruit on its head... This is why I probably won't buy it.
ANKYBEATSALL2468 - That was a very interesting battle! I enjoy the fact that it ended in a tie; in my opinion, that outcome seems quite plausible! I am very much looking forward to the next combat! Thank you so much for continuing to present this excellent work to us! :)
This game got a lot more interesting.
If I recall, Lego Indiana jones involved a Lot of guns... Like... A lot... Lego is trying to make it so the game doesn't tramatize any kids, The guns won't be the main focus of the game, But they will be there.
Every lego game in one way or another had guns in it, Even there toys do.
It is an interesting question. I do get the impression that this will be a very different Lego game. The Missions are all reenacting scenes from the films (not a lot of guns there). Beyond that, it is open-world exploration of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna.
And it won't feel very JP like if you're blasting 50 raptors per minute into pieces.
DUSTYALASKA - I likewise envision something akin to the "avoidance beacons" and "auto lure" from JPOG, but in reality I think the dinosaurs themselves would need to be chipped to guarantee better results.
SCI-Fi KING 25 - As you state, it is not a perfect science. Clearly its used to corall relatively docile animals...but its nothing that is going to stop a stampede of animals running for their lives.
i was kinda thinking it function sorta like the avoidance beacons in jpog but yea i can see what you mean lol
All of these seem way too one-sided, not in the dinosaurs' favor, either.
There won't be weapons i don't think.
I think we shall never let Claire Dearing die in our Jurassic World. If she's dead, I'll get really pissed off.
SCI-FI KING25 - How very interesting! Perhaps it is as PETER ZANETTI has speculated: each animal has been surgically fitted with a processor of some kind that prevents them from passing certain points. However, I suppose a human could walk through the "fence" field without feeling its presence. Food for thought, nevertheless! :)
The Gyrosphere will most likely have invisible fences, but they're disabled somewhere in the movie, as we see multiple Apatosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops running together, as seen here-

However, the Cretceous Cruise may or may not have these.

Notice the Apatosaurus and Stegosaurus aren't together, and all the dinosaurs are on the left side. However, on Instagram I saw a saftey poster saying not to exit the kayaks, with an Apatosaurus foot above someone standing on their kayak.
^No, not yet. But we do know some of them. T. rex, Triceratops and the Raptors are confirmed. I am assuming that Spinosaurus and I. rex will be playable as well. Also here is proof for Mr. DNA being playable.
Five Things We Know From Playing Lego Jurassic World
ANKYBEATSALL2468 - Wow! That was an extremely fun battle! I liked the way in which the animals behaved within the body of your work! Thank you so much for producing and sharing this with us! :)
PETER ZANETTI - What a very compelling series of data you have presented! Hmm, I can certainly see why you have drawn the conclusions you placed within the body of your topic, and the suppositions you have made using the available information as a foundation stand to reason quite well! I happen to agree with your ending assessment: the "Invisible Fence" technology utilized by Jurassic World as a measure to contain its animals is quite fantastic! Of course, were I to be onboard one of those cruises and a Suchomimus burst forth from the treeline with no visible barriers, I would likely ruin one of my favorite skirts! Regardless, thank you ever so much for presenting this very thought provoking topic! :)
Any list of dinosaurs in the game yet? Don't think I've seen that.
This is going to be a fun game. What I did not like about Lego Star Wars is that so much of the game's landscape was unrecognizable. Supposedly this game is more open world, with less of the endlessly repeating narrow paths.
