Hm. A Mosasaurus maximus in Jurassic World. Cool.

The thing is that i think that it's true, just because it was from august. It hasn't been wrong yet. On the same IG account you can see the full memo. Everything is correct and this far nothing is out of order. KCA also makes sense for a trailer to air.

Love the idea. Hopefully a realistic depiction. In a swamp, eating fish.

bregoDinosaurs ForumSpinosaurus vs Ankylosaurus

Well as we now know Spino was a swamp wading quadraped which ate mostly fish this is a little silly. Even if the Spino found one its weak jaws and cone teeth would have trouble eating the Anky.....

Reply
bregoDinosaurs ForumSeismosaurus vs Cryolophosaurus

What I find silly about these versus is the simplicity carnivors seem to be able to rip open skin which would have been at least three times thicker than a Rhino. Neck and or head bites and exhaustion would be a more likely method of bringing down a large Sauropod. Once down they would be helpless. A far safer way to deal with a creature ten times bigger than the predator.

bregoDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaur feeding traces on Deinocheirus (Theropoda:?Ornithomimosauria) remains from the Nemegt Formation (Late Cretac

Most modern, super active carnivores like Lions, Bears, Tigers are indeed able to deal instant death with one bite into the back of the neck, severing bone and spinal cord. I imagine if the larger Carnivorous theropods could catch prey on the run and get hold of the neck, all over red rover. This was my biggest issue with the stupid Spino/Rex battle in 3. Rexy with the most powerful bite of any land animal got a good whole neck bite on Spino and yet, not a mark left or even any blood. Totally stupid. I think the larger carnivores would probably have used ther weight to know prey over on the run them bite frantically. Raptors etc I think hunted like wolves. Running prey down, hacking and slashing till the prey collapsed.

Well as Paden said I see it unlikely that they're going to make a sequel. In the mean time I am very excited for the Jurassic World Lego game that will come out soon!

Also Hipho, I see you're back!

Why do you all want it to die?, why do they have to fight?,In my opinion the indominus might be wounded by the t.rex but escape in to the jungle to heal.

I am waiting for those as well, but having a specifically themed JWOG along with those wouldn't be so bad either XD

Spartacus RexDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaur feeding traces on Deinocheirus (Theropoda:?Ornithomimosauria) remains from the Nemegt Formation (Late Cretac

Although not as advanced and powerful as Tyrannosaurus, Tarbosaurus could easily be given a second place in that rank after the Rex. Which still makes it pretty powerful and capable of delivering a lot of damage. The big "but" in this is the fact that Deinocheirus "slap in the face" can be if not deadly, at least extremely painful and can inflict serious wounds that could injur the predator so badly, that could give a negative effect on it's chance of successful hunting in the future. And we all know that a predator that cannot hunt is much less likely to survive. Physically I have no doubt that a single Tarb is able to take it down, but it might just not risk it, since getting past that formidable defence will be too hard.

Having said that, I have following ideas:

1. Could have been a pair of Tarbs, since Deinocheirus wouldn't be able to defend from both of them at the same time.

2. Just scavenging.

3. A very lucky ambush from a single Tarb, which ended in a perfectly delivered on-target fatal bite.

Pretty much all of the already listed ones just to see what they might look like in the actual film and how they show off their behaviour.

Great Leonopteryx,

Or if they do kill it, they might just turn this into some craz**ss Sci-Fi where we will be getting a new dino-mutant in each film.

But we never know I guess until the time comes, they could come up with literally anything!

So they dont even want to see how long will the movie be able to run in the theatres and then release the DVD? OR does that mean they already decided everything regardless? Other than that, sounds good, would be interesting to see that new trailer!

Spartacus RexJurassic Park Games ForumIf there were to make a Jurassic World Operation Genesis. what dinosaurs should be in the game

My JPOG 2 /JWOG summary of what the game itself should look like imho.

Starter Creature List:

1. Baryonyx

2. Gallimimus

3. Plesiosaurus

4. Dimorphodon

5. Iguanodon

Unlockable Animals (can be unlocked during missions, survival human and dino modes, researches, random DNA discoveries etc):

1. Tyrannosaurus (with an updated and more accurate reconstruction, not necessarily with fuzz, so it sort of stays tru to the original, but at least size-wise and it's real abilities)

2. Spinosaurus (jp3)

3. Spinosaurus (real)

4. Parasaurolophus

5. Corythosaurus

6. Raptor (JP3 species)

7. Raptor (JP1, TLW and JW species)

8. Triceratops

9. Stegosaurus

10. Ceratosaurus

11. Allosaurus

12. Giganotosaurus (with an updated and more accurate reconstruction)

13. Albertosaurus

14. Mosasaurus

15. Pteranodon

16. Apatosaurus

17. Brachiosaurus

18. Acrocanthosaurus

19. Tarbosaurus

20. Therizinosaurus

21. Yutyrannus

22. Carnotaurus

23. Styracosaurus

24. Pentaceratops

25. Kentrosaurus

26. Edmontonia

27. Shantungosaurus

28. Anatotitan

29. Ouranosaurus

30. Carcharodontosaurus (with an updated and more accurate reconstruction)

Unlockable Alternate Skins (if the species has the multiple variety of skins unlocked for specific gender, it is allocated randomely when eggs hatch):

1. Tyrannosaurus JP3 male skin

2. Raptor squad female skins (x4, and all unlocked individually)

3. Tyrannosaurus JP1/TLW female skin (if they were at all different)

Features:

1. More variety of buildings, attractions and upgrades

2. All animals come out of hatchery as young teenagers and then grow as the time passes

3. Allows to play the park mode with male and female OR just male OR just female

4. Allows player to enable or disable the creatures mating and reproducing in park mode

5. Creatures can mate and reproduce in Site B mode (the aquatic fence for Site B becomes unlockable during the missions, which will then enable you to breed marine animals in Site B mode)

6. Dinosaur Player Survival Mode in site B where you can play as T-Rex, Raptor, Pteranodon or Allosaurus (may be introduce more variety to that sort of thing, I just came up with the basic list).

7. Allows you to customize a human player character and play survival mode in Site B

8. More variety of missions both PArk related and introduce Site B missions

9. Special guest appearances from the iconic JP characters, while having the current (Owen and Claire) as the main ones.

10. More advanced fossil digging and DNA recovery process.

11. Allow several alternate skin variations for male and female specimens of some dinosaurs (mainly the playable ones for the Dinosaur Player Survival Mode).

12. Allow players to design missions and share them with each other

13. Allow multiplayer co-op gameplay for survival mode (human and dinosaur player modes)

14. Have both offline single player mode and online multiplayer mode available

15. Remove DNA quality feature, just make all animals have longer lifespan by default and simply use variety of the DNA material quality that allows you to either complete faster research or a bit slower. Example: if you find a high quality DNA material for Triceratops, you will advance quicker towards unlocking this dinosaur, than if you had a low or medium quality. Once unlocked, there is no further modification to this dinosaur aside from extra unlockable skins for some of them.

Well, that was all I could think of straight from the head I guess.

bregoJurassic World ForumDreadnoughtus, the new giant!

I think the reason that JP4 doesnt feature Super Giant Sauropods is the basic fact that they would eat and probably kill every tree on the Island. These giants reached over 80,000kgs and would eat half a tonne a day. Still would love to see a Supersaurus, or Brachiasaur because they are awsome. Also how would you fence them in?

All very true Peter. Some scientists believe that most dinosaurs had both warm blooded organs as well as those modern reptiless live with. BTW a Komodo Dragon can sprint for short distances to run down smaller prey. Also they can swallow things bigger than their head!

I kinda doubt a Sequels Coming, Y'see, Jurassic Park Builder has kinda been what Univerals been capitalizing on the JPB Game, and Creating a new Genesis would in a sense, Crush JPB.

But these lists seem interesting, I'd imagine some, If not most of these would make it in there.

I totally agree with your list :) but I would add more like

Carnotaurus

Allosaurus

and more aquatic reptiles/fish such as

Pleisiosaurus

Liopleurodon

Ichyosaurus

Megalodon

Pretty much all JP Builder creatures :D

I'd say I'm with Peter on this one. Also, may be a bit off topic, but the JP3 Rex may not necessarily have been "undergrown", as not all adult specimens reach the same and maximum size, ot's only natural. Not saying that it is wrong to think what you said either, but more so, just giving you another angle to look at it if ya know what I mean ;)

As for the main topic title, also I made a post about it somewhere explaining how I would see this whole thing play out and here is the link to it (hope it works):

Spartacus RexJurassic World ForumHow big can the Idomimus Rex Get???

It is no doubt that Indominus is no Barbie doll and will be pretty damn strong and big. But in terms of size, do you realise that growing to Giganotosaurus size basically means same as T-Rex anyway, since Giganotosaurus and Rex were actually the same size with Rex being maybe a couple hundred kilos heavier (which is like the difference when one just had a nice meal and the other didn't) and Giga being about a meter longer (give or take)? It is out of date to place Giganotosaurus as a bigger predator than Rex, as they were in fact the same size based on the largest reconstruction of Giga and Sue the most complete and largest Rex specimen described. The reconstruction was done by the guy who's known to be the best in doing skeletal reconstructions and weight estimates, his name is Scott Hartman.

There is also one good specimen in Canada nicknamed Scotty, and it has the potential of being larger than Sue, if not in llength, then possibly in weight. It looks beefier and more robust than Sue according to many who have already seen it, and has the potential of being heavier as well, but no paper was released on it yet.

As for Spinosaurus, it was definitely longer, but highly unlikely to have been heavier than Rex, probably about the same, as it's body was narrower and skinnier according to the most recent discoveries and studies. Even if you meant the movie Spino - it wasn't established how large they could grow, which means that we cannot be certain if the one in JP3 was fully grown or not. We only know that the T-Rx it killed was not a fully grown (or if fully grown, then definitely not the largest possible size of the adult specimen for that matter - put it whichever way you like) as the Rexes from the first and second films. Well, and the fourth one as well now, for that matter lol.

Does that make sense?

Well if she's fully grown in the trailer and based on the size charts of all the park inhabitents, her size would be T-Rex size, however, since she is blended with various DNA of other theripod  carnivores, she could grow larger. Not as large as spinosaurus but potentially Giganotasaurus size. Indominus is the ultimate predator of the new era, who knows how powerful she is! We will all find out when we go back to that island, The Park Is Open!!!!
