I think Guanlong would be worth mentioning because it was the only Tyrannosaur to live in the Jurassic.

Even if it Rex-Fan made, Spino fans might like it. I, a Rex-Fan, corrected another Rex-Fans mistake about T-Rex being the biggest land carnivore.

I know what ya mean. I agree that Dilo was fierce. For one thing, it was one of Ceratosaurus' cousins. Just thought I would mention that ;)

Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumNanotyrannusJun 1, 2013
Nanotyrannus, in many cases would be similar in size and posture to a juvenile Rex. So, what would set it apart from juvenile tyrannosaurs? The bone structure under close analysis I remarkably similar, however we all know that fossilization is a messy process. Some parts of the skeleton could be lost during fossilization. Therefore, this animal could have had more fingers than a tyrannosaurus Rex. The truth is, that without a fairly complete skeleton, the only evidence we have is the difference in head posture, and slightly different teeth. It is also important to look at how a Rex skull changes over age. The teeth at juvenile stage could be close to a nanotyrannus specimen. Just keep this information in mind!

Hope you guys like the pics I used. I also made sure to add size comparisons and I changed the Rex page. Made it say that T-rex is possibly the largest land carnivore.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumClash of TyrantsJun 1, 2013
Yeah, just thought it would be a nice change from the usual Spino VS Rex fight. Rex fans get to see a nice fight with their favorite and Spino fans get to see a T-rex die. It's a win win really.
ReplyRexKillerJurassic World ForumJurassic Park 4 meets Avatar. Any thoughts?Jun 1, 2013
I think it could be a good plot, but not for Jurassic Park.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumMy New WebsiteJun 1, 2013
Thanks guys, glad you like it. Like I said, it ain't done yet. I may change the T-rex is biggest to T-rex may be the biggest.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumTop 10 Killer DinosaursJun 1, 2013
I see your reasoning, and I do not disagree, however something you might want to keep in mind: Intelligence contributes largely to the ability to be ferocious
ReplyRexKillerDinosaurs ForumMy New WebsiteJun 1, 2013
Looking decent so far. It's a Rex fan made site (as I can tell by your name) so Spino fans won't love it. Like you said though, it's not done.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumClash of TyrantsJun 1, 2013
The large male had the advantage in every way. He had a reason to fight, he had size, and he probably had experience. An experienced Rex wouldn't have misjudged the distance by that much if at all. Let's see someone call this fight biased. Someone might see this as the larger Rex won, so why doesn't the larger dinosaur win? It really comes to motive, determination, and experience. Who would win? A Rex that has been hunting his food for the past 10 years, or a Spino in his prime that has only scavenged and fished for a year?
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumMy New WebsiteJun 1, 2013
Looked it over a bit more carefully. Slight mistake that could cause a huge uproar with the Spino fans. You said T-Rex was the largest carnivore ever.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumMy New WebsiteJun 1, 2013
Just checked it out. The info is basic and easy to understand. It could be like a children's website. Add more advanced info, and there could be different levels of information (easy, mediam, hard, advanced). You could have different sections to (combat, behaviour, diet, breeding, maybe on the breeding though, etc). It has one picture and one little blurb of info, but you just started it, so there could be more pics and possibly videos.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe SpinosaursJun 1, 2013
I know right. That's the case for many dinosaurs. What if we found out that the largest Tyrannosaurus or Brachiosaurus was actually a juvenile, haha.
ReplyNo longer activeDinosaurs ForumThe SpinosaursJun 1, 2013
What I find interesting is that the largest Suchomimus and Baryonyx specimens are subadults! Baryonyx possibly could reach around 35 feet and Suchomimus 40! Not as big as T-Rex at 43 feet but still big.

Have to agree with Jetson21. While the first is uplifting and almost spiritual, I appreciate how dark the Lost World was. I like how the experience after the "accident in the park" made Ian Malcolm a much more complex character.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTop 10 Killer DinosaursJun 1, 2013
I chose not to include Dilo because it was slightly smaller than Ceratosaurus and not quite as strong pound for pound. Ceratosaurus was pretty deadly. It had to compete with Allosaurus, and while it was rarer, it held it's own.

Maybe he does. I like Spino just fine, I just don't think he would win, or at least not that often.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrant DinosaursJun 1, 2013
I know. I'm not sayin Spino could have been bigger, but there is a chance it was not. Besides, this post was not a discussion about which dino was bigger, it's about the family of tyrannosaurs and what they were like.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrant DinosaursJun 1, 2013
There have been more than just one Spino skeleton found. You complain about us using outdated info, than you say there has only been one Spino fossil found. It isn't the 1940's anymore. Everything scientists know about Spino for size and diet, was based on the size of one of the Spino's bones, to the same bone on Baryonx (think I spelled it right). The diet was based on the discovery of fish scales in one's stomach area.

Hey, I like Spino just fine. Spinosaurus is an interesting dinosaur. We all do our own research. I don't want to see people arguing over little things just because they disagree.
ReplyDinosaur.FanaticDinosaurs ForumSeriously, Stop Hating on Him.Jun 1, 2013
Well said, Rex fan. Plus, @FACT DUDE, you just told us that we aren't aloud to hate, but @Spinosaurus Rex is?? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.... and, can't @Spinosaurus Rex defend himself? No one is trying to assault him.
A debate about the dominant dinosaur predator does not need to involve any hating. Come on. Like @Rex Fan said, it all comes back to theories. All the debaters who are hating just need to calm down.

I think his and most other Spino fans problem is that T-Rex wins more.
ReplySpinosaurus RexDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrant DinosaursJun 1, 2013
they all seem to be close to the same size, and thats 40 skeletons, Theres only been 1 spinosaurus found and it was 60 feet it length. Maybe a coincedence, but extrememly unlikely
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex VS Spinosaurus aegypticusJun 1, 2013
Thank you Mr.Happy. Spino VS Rex fights have been done over and over and both have won. Why is it such a bad thing when Rex wins one Fact Dude?
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumSeriously, Stop Hating on Him.Jun 1, 2013
Opinions are opinions. There is nothing that will change that. We are not hating on him, we are trying to give him some reason to not completely ignore the facts on T-Rex. We Rex fans listen to what Spino fans say. Some Spino fans don't just go hate on T-Rex for no reason at all. Dinosaur.Fanatic doesn't. He agrees T-Rex could beat Spino more often than not, and he is team Spino.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrant DinosaursJun 1, 2013
Don't even get me started alright? It's all theories! T-rex is still in the running for it. Hear me out. T-rex appeared between 68 and 70 million years ago and lived from Canada to as far south as Texas. We have less than 40 skeletons. That is a tiny fraction of the number of rexes that lived in that massive area for 3-5 mya. There very well may have been Tyrannosaurs bigger than Spino, Giga, or Car. It's all speculation!
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex VS Spinosaurus aegypticusJun 1, 2013

Dude, calm down! For the record I've been studying dinosaurs for 14 years now. It does not matter how much experience you have. Amateurs often make the biggest discoveries. Either way, there is no right answer when it comes to this stuff. It all comes back to theories. And people tend to have different theories.

What @Spinosaurus Rex is trying to say, you guys are just trying to make trex win this stupid series thing, so you shut the hell up @RexKiller, a lot of you guys are either die hard rex fans or are just too retarded to see the reality or what these guys are trying to do. Just watch, these guys are gonna make trex win this series just so they can make thier favorite dinosaur to be the dominate fighter and killer, when they dont know the majority of what theyre talking about. Im going to school for paleontology, and so is S-Rex, so the both of us know what were talking about. And im 17 too by the way
ReplyFACT DUDEDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrant DinosaursJun 1, 2013
trex isnt possibly the largest land carnivore, there is no POSSIBLY to it. Spinosaurus, gigannotosaurus, and charcarodontosaurus were all bigger than trex
