Apparently it was. I found it strange that it was a Tyrannosaur though.

See the longer arms and 3 fingered hands? I thought it was an Allosaur when I looked it up on images. I had to go to one of the links to find out.

Good story. Looking through you're website for my vote, and I choose Eurypterid.

Replybizzaro88Jurassic World ForumJurassic Park 4 (Jurassic World) Plot SynopsisJul 5, 2013
does anybody else think that the story should be focused on the raptors? in jp3 grant said they were really smart then it showed you them in action on sorna, but how smart. smart enough to get off the island? bringing me back to jp1 when muldoon was talking about the raptors at the feeding pen.. he said that when she came in she took over the pride and killed but 2 of the others but what if they actually went missing and he said that to keep ingens noise clean so theyd sign off on the park. him, hammond, Dr Wu and ray arnold knew about this and kept it quiet because Dr Wu didnt think theyd survive off the island. now theyve started getting sightings of them on the mainland and animals and humans turning up dead. maybe not escaped off the island. bit out there, what they going to do? fly a chopper? but mayby they were transported somewhere or eggs where stolen from the facility before.and not just raptor eggs. jthats where Dr Grant, malcolm and satler come in to investage. tells me what you think??

I'm sorry about all the spelling errors. I wrote this up on the computer at two thirty and my writing program has no spellcheck. Sorry about that, it wont be that way next time. Aside from that hope you liked it!

I'll read for sure, sounds great.

Great idea, there is a whole variety of lifeforms there, especially in the oceans.
ReplyshambsDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Agree, Daspletosaurus was very well built, like T.rex. By the way, Dryptosaurus was a Tyrannosaurid?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumGiganotosaurus vs CarcharodontosaurusJul 4, 2013
It may have the longest, Spino may rival this, but it is certainly not the strongest. That goes to Tyrannosaurus. But this is not about Rex. I agree, Giga would probably win. But I think it's because it was more advance than Carchar, but not by much.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Large theropods are what I know the most about. Smaller theropods are next. I know stuff about all the rest, but like you, not quite as much as the tyrannosaurs and, to a lesser extent, the large theropods.
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumGiganotosaurus vs CarcharodontosaurusJul 4, 2013
Giga, it was anywhere from 40-53 feet long and 7-13 tons. Lower estimate, Carchar, upper estimate Giga. At parity, Giga because it had a longer skull. The longest of any theropod, as a matter of fact.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Tyrannosaurs are the ones I know the most about too. I hadn't actually heard of Yutyrannus until recently. I know a bit about all the groups, but not as extensive as the Tyrants.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Yeah. They would have been the only ones capable of doing it. Das and Gor could, if sauropods were around during their time. I have heard of just about every tyrannosaur out there. Tyrannosaurs are my "specialty." Everything from Dilong to Appalachiasaurus.
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumNew Prehistoric Series: Ancient LifesJul 4, 2013
Are you going to do gorgonopsids?
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Forgot to say that Rex and Tarbo may have been the only ones big enough to take sauropods, along with maybe Gorgosaurus and Daspletosaurus (juvenile sauropods though).
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
You bring up a good point Shambhala. Rex and Tarbo were probably the only tyrannosaurs that could fight sauropods.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
We know Tyrannosaurs for the biggest ones, Rex and Tarbo. How many people have heard on Nano-T, Yutyrannus, Gaunlong, etc.?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Yeah. I wanted it to be the most dramatic and epic of them all. I can't guarantee the bonus battle will even be half as good, but I'll try.
ReplyshambsDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
That battle was ossom, very good ideas and a good ending too. Sure a T.Rex family must have been a terrible force of nature. Also Tarbosaurus was probably one of the few Tyrannosaurid, which had the opportunity to prey sauropods.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Everything about it is what made the best one. The environment factors, the detail, and the family bond.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
For the sake of keeping it as accurate as possible, they were females. Let's say they had a brother, but he left when he was about 26 ft long and 2 tons. This is my personal favorite of the series. Not just because it's about T-rex, haha.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Where the sub-adults male or female? It would be strange if they were male, but if they were female, it would make more sense just because they would be able to leave the family group as they wish.
Maybe they could coordinate basic attacks.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Forgot to mention, great fight, can't wait for the bonus fight.

ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumWhat caused the extinction of the North American SauropodsJul 4, 2013
I already stated why I think they went extinct. As for their return, perhaps the Western Interior Seaway's withdrawal had something to do with it. Or the formation of the Isthmus of Panama.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumWhat caused the extinction of the North American SauropodsJul 4, 2013
Alright. Back on track here. The North American sauropods. Why did they go extinct and eventually return?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumWhat caused the extinction of the North American SauropodsJul 4, 2013
That's a big factor too. Volcanic activity is included in that and that can have big changes as well.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumWhat caused the extinction of the North American SauropodsJul 4, 2013
Again, a valid point Rex fan. It can go along with geological activity though.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Thanks. Glad you liked it. I worked really hard on it. I feel the combo of background/environmental details and the dinosaurs themselves really made the perfect storm, well, battle in this case.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumTyrannosaurus rex vs AlamosaurusJul 4, 2013
Dude, this was an awesome fight. I liked the creativity with the tyrannosaurs. The coordinated attacks(though unrealistic because tyrannosaurs couldn't coordinate attacks that well) still added a wow factor to the story. Keep it up!
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumWhat caused the extinction of the North American SauropodsJul 4, 2013
The sauropods were still around in S. America at the end of the Cretaceous. Were they giants, no, were they there, yes. Saltosaurus lived about 70-80 mya. It was only about 40 ft long and 7 tons though. They were there, but no longer the dominant herbivores. The south over seemed to stay more "primitive" than the north. The south's most advanced theropods were the allosaurs/carcharodontosaurs. The north had the dromeasaurs and tyrannosaurs. The south had sauropods and iguanodonts. The north had hadrosaurs and ceratopsians. The south was unique of course. But perhaps the overall "primitiveness" played a part in the downfall of so many species. Just a thought.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumGiganotosaurus vs CarcharodontosaurusJul 4, 2013
Size does not really matter in my opinion. It all comes down to strength. Some predators may be bigger than Tyrannosaurus, I do stress may, but Rex is stronger than just about anything else out there. Giga and Car are pretty close. I'm gonna say Giga because it was slightly more advanced.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumWhat caused the extinction of the North American SauropodsJul 4, 2013
The southern hemispehere was increadibly geologically active in the late Cretaceous period. The plants couldn't get as big anymore, or maybe they just adapted a different way in the southern Hemisphere because of the poor oxygen content. No matter though, because smaller dinosaurs could out compete giant sauropods, or maybe the sauropods couldn't digest the new plants. Either way, that's probably what caused it Deltadromeus15
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic Park ForumRaptor ProposalJul 4, 2013
The jp 3 raptors are smarter because as Billy said, "They set a trap," they toyed with emotions and used bait. The other raptors just opened doors. There were only eight raptors in Jurassic Park, ingen must have bred more than eight raptors if you say they are in "batches". You still haven't answered my question about the snout though.
