Good fight. I was rooting for Yutyrannus, but at least he lives ;)

I agree, it's pretty much Yangchuanosaurus vs Daspletosaurus. Let's look at the stats. Yangchuanosaurus 35-36 ft 4-6 t Powerful slicing bite and powerful hatchet chop function Daspletosaurus 30-33 ft 3-4 t Powerful crushing bite and speed Also, great fight!

Great fight. Yang for the win, ya! I was suprised to see that he let the Yutyrannus go, but I guess it doesn't always end in death. T really is only Daspletosaurus vs Yangchuanosaurus for the finals. That is the on fight that is going to be very hard for me sto choose who I'll think will win.

Good chapter. I see the young Spino helping Sky later on. Some thing tells me this story takes place in a real messed up time in the worlds history.

Good fight, can't wait for the next, I figured Yangchu would win. Didn't expect him to let Yutyrannus live though. I liked that though.

You make my site look small and insignificant. Your site is awesome. Lots of detail, could use a few more pics, but that is about it. Great, now I'm jealous.

The chinese mounted is horribly inaccurate. the overall animal is likely smaller, rough to 17 m long.

I vastly disagree with your estimates, obviously. I don't see how an animal known from fairly complete remains could be so small in your book.

Rex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumHuaxiaosaurus
If you've seen the page I gave this dinosaur on my site, then you know I estimate it to be smaller than most. That said, I do agree that it was a massive dinosaur. One on one, a large theropod could take it down, but not easily. Give that theropod some backup, I think they could do it. Not sure about it surviving today though. The environment is pretty different, but who knows.

DinoFightsDinosaurs ForumHuaxiaosaurus
I think it could survive, assuming it was in a place where people couldn't kill it. If it lived in unexplored areas of, say, the democratic republic Congo, it would do okay (assuming it could eat the plants there). But I agree with you, no theropods could take it 1 on 1.

I'd really love another jurassic park operation genesis. It is probably the gratest game I've ever played. To bad it is so expensive now.

Beats all large theropods except a small pack of Giganotosaurus. Its its own species. Would die today. Not enough food for it to live, and would destroy the amazon

Hp4? You sure you don't mean JP4? ;) Yeah, I know what you mean.

Not sure. I'd like a new JPOG, Jurassic Park: The Game, and/or a 3rd person dinosaur game of some sort.

I understand. I wonder what the real game is going to be like.

Rex Fan 684Jurassic Park Games ForumJurassic World Game Proof!
What I'm saying is, most games don't have one of the characters/animals as a reason for it's rating. JPOG is rated T for Teen, but not because dinosaurs are in it. Understand what I mean?

Giganotosaurus had eyes placed more to the sides. Being chased by a Tyrannosaurus would be like being chased by a wolf with the nose of a turkey vulture(only many times bigger and deadlier). They probably had comparable speeds. I guess I'd take Giga(slightly worse eyesight). Might give me an edge, might.

Actually Giganotosaurus had better sight, having large orbitals. It just lacked the Tyrannosaurus' depth perception. So I say Tyrannosaurus, since it was slower and had worse eyesight. However, its unrivaled sense of smell would allow it to track me down from miles away even if, and i stress IF, I did escape. Brb with a website review.

GigadinoDinosaurs ForumLots of Dino Stuff
1. Mapusuarus from DP 2. Giganotosaurus as a heavily built solitary hunetr, while his relative Mapusuarus as a slimmer but longer pack hunetr. 3. Awesome 4. Deinocheirus was a Ornithomimid in my opinion. It was likely about 12 meters long with a mass of 4-6 tonnes (it was extremely lighty built as it was a Ornithomimid). 5. It's true! 6. I usually go in this way: Spinosaurus at 14,3-16 m, T.rex at 10,9-12,3 m, Giganotosaurus at 12,4-13,2 m and 5-8 t, Carcharodontosaurus at 12-13 m and 5-8 t, Tyrannotitan at 11,4-12,2 m and 4-6 t, Tarbosaurus at 10-12 m and 5-7 t, Mapusuarus at 12,2-13,6 m and 5-8 t, Torvosaurus at 9 m and 2 t, and finally Saurophaganax at 11,5 m and 4-5 t. 7. I don't know. Utahraptor is unusually very slim for his size (being 6-7 m long), and probably he get a max speed at 40-60 km/h.

GigadinoDinosaurs ForumThe size of Mesozoic animals, part 2 - Ornitischia (Update version of all list)
Ankylosaurus is "just" 6-7 meters long (with 4 tonnes of body mass). Charonosaurus is likely about 10 meters long, about the same size of his relative Parasaurolophus.

I'm surprised you left out Ankylosaurus and Charonosaurus. Ankylosaurus was probably about 6-8 meters long and weighed around 4-5 tons, maybe more. Charonosaurus is often estimated to be around 10-12 meters long, which would rival, say, Saurolphus. Just a thought, not a huge deal though ;)

GigadinoDinosaurs ForumThe size of Mesozoic animals, part 2 - Ornitischia (Update version of all list)
Yes, it has a freak 2.5 meters long skull, but that's because, as reconstructed 55% of that 2.65m is all frill, in fact, the description recognizes that large specimens of Triceratops were larger, like LACM 150076, which has a femur 117cm long and is 4% thicker than the 102cm long femur of the Titanoceratops holotype, and while not mentioned in the paper, there's even larger specimens of Triceratops, CM 1618 has a femur 127cm long and AMNH 971 has a humerus 83cm long, which if it has the same humerus/femur ratio as CM 1618 and USNM 4842, will have a femur around 1.4m long. If Titanoceratops was 9m long then how big are these? 12-13m? Longrich (2010) has a skeletal, after correcting the wrongly scaled scalebar it shows Titanoceratops to be between 6-7m long.

It seems to me that, for right now, not wanting to wait a few 100 years, the most promising way to get something like a dino would be Jack Horners Chickenosaurus-project. :(

I remember I had a documentary on VHS, something like "The Real Jurassic Park," narrated by Goldblum. And I remember them talking to a bunch of geneticists who WERE trying to extract DNA from mosquitos in amber, and they said that although there was blood intact from prehistoric animals, none so far had dated anywhere near as far back as the mesozoic era. But I think they did talk about a couple prehistoric mammals.

I believe the compsognathus had to be my favorite just because of how many there were and the way they remembered the guy shocking one it was like revenge when killing him. They were very minor characters but it was awesome.
