Today I’m giving my opinion on Megalodon vs Sarcosuchus

First let’s start with Megalodon

Megalodon Stats

Length: 60 Feet

Weight: 60 Tons

Swim Speed: 20 MPH (35 MPH in Short Bursts)

Diet: Large Whales, Dolphins, Porpoises, Sea Turtles, Large Pinnipeds, Rays, Sirenians (Sea Cows), Marine Sloths, Penguins, Crocodiles, Other Sharks and Even Other Megalodons

Bite Force: 20 Tons

Enemies: Livyatan, Brygmophyseter, Aulophyseter, Acrophyseter, Zygophyseter, Chubutensis, Albicetus, Orcas, and Great white sharks

Extinction: Competition with Great White Sharks

Now on to the stats of Sarcosuchus

Sarcosuchus Stats

Length: 43 Feet

Weight: 9 Tons but possibly up to 10 Tons

Swim Speed: 25 MPH

Diet: Dinosaurs such as juvenile Sauropods and small to medium sized Theropods and large fish such as Onchopristis and Mawsonia

Bite Force: 9 Tons

Enemies: Suchomimus, Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus and Rugops.

Extinction: Climate Change

Now to the advantages of both Sarcosuchus and Megalodon

Megalodon Advantages:

Bigger

Longer

More Robust

Stronger Bite

Better Hunting experience

Better Senses

Sarcosuchus Advantages:

More Intelligent

More Agile

Faster Swimmer

FIGHT:

A 43 foot 10 ton Sarcosuchus swims out to sea looking for new food. Little does the croc know is that he’s being watched. The croc continues to cruise but suddenly hears movement in the water. Then out of nowhere a 60 foot 60 ton Megalodon bumps the crocs tail. It’s exploratory bump. The shark knows that the croc is food but he’s unaware that this meal fights back. The shark dives back to the depths of the murky waters. The croc tries to find the shark but thanks to the sharks camouflage technique it’s practically invisible. The shark comes back this time head on. The shark opens its gapping mouth full of razor sharp teeth and attempts to bite the crocs mid section. However the croc notices the shark and quickly uses its agility to avoid the sharks jaw. The croc thens bites the sharks massive tail trying to rip it off. However the croc isn’t able to do much damage due to it not being able to do the death roll. The shark retaliates by shaking its tail aggressively. The croc let’s go of the tail. The shark then dives back to the depths. The croc then chases the massive shark. Once the croc reaches a depth of 800 feet it heads back towards the surface to breath. The shark swims up to the surface at a top speed of 25 MPH. The croc resurfaces and tries to catch his breath. The shark then ambushes it’s enemy and breaches out of the surface with the croc in its mouth. The shark splashes back into the water and shakes it’s jaws tearing the croc to shreds. The croc quickly dies from blood loss. The sea becomes red and organs began to pop out of the surface. Hordes of Sea gulls come to scavenge on the crocs remains. The shark then feast on the rest of the crocs corpse.

Verdict: I think Megalodon would win about 75% of the time due to its size, weight, hunting experience and bite force. One bite in the mid section of the crocs belly and super croc is history. While Sarcosuchus was used to taking on mega theropods such Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus, Megalodon was used to taking on even larger predators such as Livyatan and other members of its own species. The only way I see Sarcosuchus standing much of a chance is if it bit one of the fins off which it probably can’t because it cannot do the death roll.

Winner: Megalodon

Nice fight! Did you get inspiration from Animationking on Wattpad and/or James for the style of the fight? I really liked it! I do have one problem though, you don't say why you think Megalodon would win (even though I agree with your decision). Also, in the future maybe add that and a battle scenario. Other than that, really good job! Especially for your first topic!

If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

I got the inspiration from both of them and also I just made a few modifications to it.

Great job! I agree with your reasons for why you think Megalodon would win too

Probably, but I've only known him for a month or two and we haven't talked in a while, so don't take my word for it XD

Nice scenario!

Thanks! to be honest the scenario is kinda similar to that of animal face offs great white shark vs saltwater crocodile.

Never read that one. Also, I fixed my Tyrannosaurus V.S. Triceratops fight! It's actually there now... XD

Easy, the Sarcosuchus could walk on land and swim in the water,he is smaller, but maybe, the Megalodon might try to attack him for below and kick Sarcosuchus, and the both land on land, and the Sarcosuchus would eat the Megalodon, but your battle was still great!

There's no way a Megalodon could breach far enough out of the water to reach land... or even shallow water... it would probably just be able to get to its dorsal fin at the maximum... so the land scenario ain't happening.

If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.
