MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-03-2017 9:20 AMHell, there. While having a look about the web, I happened upon a very interesting bit of information concerning the most famous of all dinosaurs: the Tyrannosaurus rex. As it turns out, those little arms of the Tyrant Lizard King might not have been as useless as some previously speculated. I have provided a link to the topic below and I certainly hope you enjoy this information should you choose to give it a look! :)

It makes sense that a T.rex's arms could have slashed its prey WHEN CAUGHT! Those claws weren't dull!
However, the two uses of its arms are not a dichotomy. Who's to say that a male T.rex couldn't have used them to help wound prey AND steady himself during mating. These limbs had more uses than we normally think, and any individual would use them to the fullest extent.
In fact, I bet a good way to identify a mature female T.rex (if we were to travel back in time) would be to see any scars and scratches on her back. That way, we'd know she'd be an adult, and has a history of breeding.
