Chapter 7: The True Final Battle, the Tyrant Lord versus the Ultimate Lord
The Godlike Tyrannosaurus rex rammed his five-foot skull into Dominum's shoulder, biting him there. The bite was immensely painful as footlong railroad spikes dug into him, and he was shocked by the agonizing strength of this beast. The Tyrant Lord cracked his shoulder blade under the intense pressure, and Ultimus finally threw him off with a slash to the face. He finally got a good look at his attacker.
Scars, some healed and some fresh, covered the Tyrant Lord's body like war medals. Tyrance charged, slamming his 10-tonne, scar-covered body into the Ultimate Lord. He clamped down on his neck, his bite force increasing with each passing second. But Dominum was just as powerful and was able to rip himself free, gasping for air. This gave the tyrant the opportunity to smash him into the rocky wall of the ravine.
Ultimus looked in the air, and saw two spirits--his father, Maledictus, and his father before him, Nequit. The spirit of Egypt was nowhere to be found. Little did the two lords know--he lived.
Tyrance grabbed his throat and smashed him into the ravine wall multiple times, blood streaming down the neck of the Ultimate Lord. This caused the entire cliffside to shake--and it could be felt on top. Rexy looked down into the ravine when she felt shaking--her mate was down there.
Tyrance then threw Dominum to the ground, crushing his ribs underneath his three-taloned foot. Ultimus groaned as he felt his ribs give away under the pressure. He lifted his tail, and slammed the thagomiser into Tyrance's side. He lost his footing, but still stood, and the etherial theropod grabbed him by the arm, throwing him into a jagged rock.
Ultimus screamed psychotically, lifting himself off the rock wall. He turned to face the Tyrant Lord, and the two backed away, preparing to charge. Dominum stood directly in front of Spinax, who slowly and silently stood to his feet. The Tyrant Lord smirked as he saw this, confusing the Ultimate Lord--who was then greeted by a pair of crocodile-like jaws clamping onto his tail.
In that moment, gone was the Emperor of the Rivers, the Prodigal Spinosaur--he was now the Spined Lord. Reclaiming his original name, Egypt swung Dominum towards himself, slashing his thigh, piercing arteries and veins deep within his flesh. This gave the Tyrant Lord the opportunity to charge, biting down on his lower jaw--dislocating it with a swing of his head, and crushing it under his immense bite force.
Ultimus Dominum stumbled back as his jaw hung flimsily--but this would not stop him for long, as he regenerated his wounds. But Egypt clamped onto his throat and drove his claws deep into his shoulder, pushing him back.
Ultimus looked at Tyrance, then at Egypt as the two lords charged. They slammed him against the ravine wall, ramming him with their skulls. Rexy saw this from the top of the ravine, and, like Egypt, she reclaimed her original name in that moment - Tyria, as she broke a jagged rock out of the ground with her jaws. The Tyrant Lady then hurled it into the misty abyss.
The javeline-like object impaled Dominum's foot, and he fell to the ground with a screech of agony. However, he stood back up, and continued trying to push them back. At the top of the fissure, the diminished Earth saw this--and slowly stood. Each step filled him with pain, but he persevered through the unbearable, unimaginable agony--using his immense mass, he pushed a large boulder down in to the ravine, and it crushed Dominum's sail, sending him to the ground in agony. Earth saw him fall as his strength gave away, and he collapsed on the edge, burned, bloodied, beaten, broken.
The Spined Lord closed his jaws around Ultimus's arm, as the Tyrant Lord crushed his left arm under his foot. Then, the Spined Lord placed his own foot on Ultimus's side for support--and ripped his right arm off, nearly breaking his jaws in the process.
Dominum screamed and fumbled as he tried to stand--but to no avail, as his arms were useless. But this wouldn't hinder him for long, as he regenerated them and stomped his foot on the ground, standing up. As the rage-filled Spinosaurus charged, he released a beam of fire that took even the Spined Lord aback--he fell to the ground in agony.
Tyrance stood in front of Egypt and took the blast himself--summoning all the might in his legs, he stomped towards Dominum. In that moment, he thought of Earth, who gave in before he could reach the lord. The fire burned through his feathers, but he wouldn't give up--no, he wouldn't fail as Earth had.
In agonising pain, he reached Ultimus, but the demon was shoved aside by Egypt, saving Tyrance the deed as the ray of fire hit the ravine wall from point-blank range. The Tyrant Lord panted, the feathers on his neck charred black. The Ultimate Lord slashed Egypt's face, but he was filled with rage at this and clawed his belly.
Regaining his energy, Tyrance threw Ultimus to the ground and clamped onto his throat. But Dominum wrenched himself free, and tried to retreat, only to have his tail crushed by the Tyrant Lord's jaws. The etherial T.rex smashed his skull into Dominum's face, knocking his teeth out.
Fearing the unimaginable power of the Tyrant Lord, Dominum smashed his thagomiser into Tyrance's left thigh, but this did not phase the Godlike theropod.
Ultimus held his head in pain as the Tyrant Lord grabbed his throat, thinking of all killed by the Dominums--Earth's pack, Tyranno, Tyrana--Egypt. With each figure that entered his mind, his bite force slowly ascended--jumping from 24,000 pounds--to 50,000 pounds of pure, unrelenting, unbridled strength and fury.
The Tyrant Lord threw the body of the Ultimate Lord to the ground. He looked back at the Spined Lord, who nodded to him--and the Tyrant Lord released an Earth-shattering roar, signaling his ascension to the single strongest animal ever to set foot upon the planet.
