Fight! (Note: This isn't canon to The Story of Spinax)
The herd of Parasaurolophus drank the water, it was good. Lurking in the nearby woods was a large female Carcharodontosaurus. She charged at the herd, baring her shark teeth. The Carc grabbed one Parasaur by the tail, pulling him closer to her. She then landed the killing blow to his neck. Just as she was about to eat, a large roar shook the Earth. Then footsteps. Boom. Boom. Boom.
The Carc turned to see a particularly nasty looking Tyrannosaurus Rex. He had scars covering nearly every part of his body except his tail and was missing his right arm. He snarled at her, letting out another roar. But then, he stared past her. The Carc noticed this and turned to the lake. Both saw a large sail cutting through the water.
Spinax, the largest Spinosaurus in the world, stepped on the land, dwarfing the other competitors. The Carc was scared, but the Tyrannosaur...he refused to back down. He roared, and Spinax slashed him in the neck, giving him more scars than he already had. The T-Rex charged, grabbing the Spinosaurus's neck. He reached out with his arm, clawing the Tyrannosaurus's chest. He let go, stumbling back. Neither noticed the Carc backing away, but heard a rhythmic thumping. Neither gave a shit about it and resumed the fight.
Both the Tyrannosaurus and the Spinosaurus were backing up, raking their toe claws in the dirt. They ran toward each other, but suddenly, a Giganotosaurus came out of nowhere, clamping down on Spinax's neck. The latter twisted and turned, trying to get him off.
Out of the corner of his eye, the Giga saw the Carc, growling toward her lowly. She knew this meant an alliance and returned the call. The T-Rex knew an alliance would spell his doom, and he launched himself at the Giga, kicking him in the shin and biting his snout.
Spinax recovered, facing the Carc, who was about to attack the Tyrannosaur from behind. The former stood back to back with the T-Rex, growling lowly toward him. They formed their own alliance, and the Spinosaurus hit the Carc in the face with his claws, then pushed her back. She bit him in the right shoulder, but he wrenched himself free, knocking some of her teeth out. The Carc, realizing the Tyrannosaurus was a bigger threat, shoved him out of the way. The Spinosaurus landed on a particularly hard rock, breaking some of his ribs.
Both Carnosaurs bombarded the T-Rex with their jaws and claws. He snapped at them, trying to hit him, but they dodged, using hit and run tactics. Eventually, Spinax recovered and stood up, but he saw his companion go limp in the Giga's jaws.
However, the Carc was particularly exhausted, and he went for her, chomping down on her neck. He then stabbed her in the eye with his claws, shoving her back as she screamed. He then took out her other eye, making her cry out. Spinax then chomped down on her neck, shaking her like a rag doll. Some of his teeth broke, but the Carcharodontosaurus's lifeless body slumped to the ground.
The Spinosaurus then turned to the Giga, who had left the Carc as a distraction so he could eat the Parasaur and regain some strength. Thunder cracked in the background. This was it, the final battle. The Giganotosaurus roared, making mock lunges. The Spinosaurus knew what he was doing, and caught him in the head one time. His opponent roared, kicking him in the knee. Spinax stumbled back as the Giga bit down on his shin. He began slashing his back wildly, tearing out huge pieces of flesh. Using his other leg, the larger carnivore kicked him in the side, breaking his ribs and making him release his grip. Knowing he would do better in water, Spinax made a dash for the lake, as the Giga chased him.
He was so determined to kill him that he went IN the water. But he saw nothing. Suddenly, he heard a splash, and felt a sharp pain in his right arm. He looked down to see the Spinosaurus tear it off, then he bit him in the snout, dragging him out of the water. The thunder rumbled again, this time with lightning flashes. Spinax tried to charge, but felt pain, and ran away. He found the Parasaur's body, looking back to see the Giga roar. The Spinosaurus knew this was the end, but as the Giga charged, lightning struck a tree, knocking it over and lighting it in flames. He looked up, but it was too late.
It crashed on his side, breaking his back. Blood was everywhere. Spinax walked over to him, grabbing him by the neck. He shook him like a rag doll until he heard a sickening crunch. The Giganotosaurus's head dropped to the ground, dead.
The sole surviving carnivore walked over to the T-Rex, who was dead. He honored the being for being a valiant fighter, then returned to the lake, slumbering at the shore.
Winner: Spinax
