Deep in the beautiful springs of prehistoric Middle-East, a lone Spinosaurus roams. This Spinosaurus is at the peak of his hunting career, food is plentiful, and he has no need to eat.
This Spinosaurus goes by the name, "Egypt." Egypt leisurely walks through the mountainous region that he is placed in, he watches as a Tarbosaurus visciously takes down a Titanosaur, he could attempt to scavenge but it's not worth it.
Egypt's immense size has been his ticket to scaring off all potential threats, and with that he has never fought another Dinosaur in his time, and he does not intend to ever. Egypt begins to feel hunger, his massive size requires atleast 100 pounds of meat per-week- yet still he doesn't fret and makes a leisurely stroll towards the nearest river.
Egypt lays down near the pond and begins to awaken his senses regarding hunting; Egypt stands up, he stomps over to the river alerting anything that is nearby, he sticks his crocodilian snout silently into the river awaiting any nearby Saw-Fish to rattle his senses- one does, with lightning reflexes he grabs the Saw-Fish out of the water in an instant and rattles it with his mouth.
Egypt presses his hands against the Saw-Fish as it dies in his mouth, he finishes the beast off with a throw to the ground. Egypt begins to tear the flesh off of the Saw-Fish and eat it, he was in complete bliss. Taking a rest after enjoying his meal he licked his claws clean of any remaining fish, he then proceeded to drink some of the water from the pond.
Egypt layed down and dozed off to sleep, he was the dominant of the Sahara, and nothing nearby could oppose his throne.
*Suchomimus*
Deep in a swamp close to the Sahara desert, a Suchomimus prowls for anything to eat. The Suchomimus is starving, he hasn't eaten anything in the past two weeks, he needs something to kill, and he needs it fast. Due to a fight with a Tarbosaurus, this Suchomimus has lost a great deal of his senses to catch fish, and he has been unable to do so.
The Suchomimus is named, "Mimic." Mimic begins to think his time may-be-coming soon, he climbs a small hill and gazes upon the lush forest and rivers that run close. The burning sun beats down directly on his back scorching his mighty scales, he needed to get out of this heat and fast; Mimic walked down the hill carefully, but his carefulness was not taken as the rock's connecting the hill began to break shattering the mountain due to his immense size. Mimic was sent sliding down the mountain and landed in the river, hundreds of Saw-Fish were in the river, but he couldn't catch even one.
Mimic roared at the desert he is now in and bellowed more attempting to alert any type of herbivores, but nothing sprang forth; Mimic began to feel drowsy and lethargic, he layed down under a nearby fern that shielded him from the sun. He began to feel thirsty so he walked over to a nearby stream and drank an unprecedented amount of water. Hunger slowly is over coming this hulking beast, he can't lay down to rest he needs to stay on the move.
Mimic stumbles around the beach that connected to the stream attempting to find any type of predator that he could attempt to scavenge from, Mimic was lucky, as a half-eaten Saw-Fish lay on the side of the beach. He ran over to this Saw-Fish, he was saved. He leaned his head down and began to tear off the flesh and swallow it; he ate all of the flesh on the fish leaving nothing, he had no idea the horror he had just put himself in.
*Final Battle*
Egypt left his half eaten Saw-Fish, food was plentiful and things were going well for him- he could never have thought anything would oppose him. Egypt stomps back to where his meal was after he had left to scare away some dromaeosaurus, when he returned he was in complete shock. Egypt looked with anger as a Suchomimus had eaten completely his kill, even though he didn't need it, this was for pride.
Egypt roared ferociously at Mimic, and Mimic roared back. Mimic looked on terrified at this turn of events, he knew there was no escaping this predicament. Egypt bellowed at Mimic attempting to scare him away, but Mimic did not nudge, infact he moved closer. Egypt, knowing very well he has never fought another creature was extremely cautious in his moves against this beast- they could very well be his last.
Mimic, still clouded by hunger believed he would be chased to the ends of the earth by this demon- he has to kill it here, and now. Mimic charges Egypt, he bites him directly on the neck sending Egypt into severe pain- but he is not even close to being killed. Egypt pushed Mimic off and claws him in the face leaving deep gashes on his skull, Mimic charges again and this time rams into Egypt knocking over a tree in the process.
Egypt bites Mimic's neck and claws his body at the same time sending Mimic into agonizing pain, Egypt doesn't let go. Mimic, knowing very well he is dealing with a much larger and more durable creature, he must be vigilant in every move- and fighting him head on is not going to cut it.
Mimic stands down from Egypt, and backs away. Egypt watches with his teeth bared and claws on the ready, but Mimic does not charge- he stumbles off into the ocean and submerges himself. Egypt doesn't know what to think, could he be backing down? Or preparing for a sneak attack, these next moves may be his last.
Egypt walks over to the river where Mimic submerged and looks closely, he sees nothing so he decides he backed down. Egypt turns his neck around to leave, and just as he does this Mimic lunges out of the ocean and directly grabs Egypt's neck knocking him over entirely.
Egypt kicks off Mimic but Mimic doesn't quit, he runs over and begins to clamp down on Egypts massive spine. Egypt bellows in agonizing pain, he kicks Mimic off again, he stands up, and dashes at Mimic knocking both of them over into the river. Egypt under-water grabs Mimic and claws his right eye blinding it, Mimic sticks his snout to the surface but it was to no avail as Egypt drags him back under and claws him right in his neck.
Mimic tail kicks Egypt and swims back up to the surface, but it was once again to no avail as Egypt lunges out of the water like a Sarcosuchus and grabs Mimic's neck, he drags Mimic onto land by his neck and claws him profusely.
Egypt lets go of the grip on Mimic's neck only to clamp down on Mimic's enlarged sail-spine, he breaks off a piece of the vertabrae but the torture of Mimic is not over. Mimic lays on the ground defeated and unable to even stand up, he watches as Egypt grabs a medium sized boulder; Egypt lifts up the rock and walks over to Mimic, he then smashes the rock onto Mimic's skull finally breaking it.
Egypt has won, he roars loudly so any opposing predators can hear him. Egypt drags Mimic's body over to the river and respectfully throws it in allowing nature to dispose of it.
Egypt leaves the river, he walks across the desert only to enter a rich mesa- not that much of a change of scenery. He walks up to a cave inside one of the mountains, he lays down and dozes off- he believes nothing can stop him now as he falls asleep, little did he know.
