This is the second part in my story, I just want to say that part three will have more action and character development. Enjoy! and please give me feedback about what you like and don't be shy to tell me what you don't like so I can improve it.

3 creatures as tall as a man and twice as long as a lion leaped from the neighboring forest, Walter and I observed in terror from behind the small bushes as the creatures seemed to be play-fighting. They were covered in fur or….. Feathers, from the eye to the tip of the tail.

I looked back and saw Emma hiding behind a piece of wreckage, after that she slowly grabs a shotgun about 5 feet away from her, suddenly Oliver, oblivious to the danger ran out of the ship screaming “I found food!” immediately grabbing the creatures’ attention, noticing the danger went running back inside the wreckage, the animals bolted towards him with lightning speed. The creatures passed us by as if we weren’t even there , Suddenly Emma shot the leading creature in the side killing it instantly, but because if her inexperience the recoil was too much for her to handle so the weapon sprung in 2 feet in the air and pushed her on her back. The other 2 animals stopped for a second and looked at their dead comrade then proceeded to divert their attention to Emma, just as they were about to attack her, Oliver leaped from the hole in the wreckage and stabbed one of the creatures in the eye using a kitchen knife. He then took his sister by the hand and they hid behind a big metal slab The animal bellowed in pain slashing and biting randomly, suddenly an astoundingly loud roar could be heard coming from the edge of the forest behind, a mere few seconds later a much, much larger animal bolted from the trees attacking the other one biting it on the neck snapping it immediately. The sound of the snapping neck accompanied by the bellowing screams from an animal was horrifying.

Walter and I then told the other pair to come with us, dashing towards us; the animals distracted by one another didn’t even seem to notice them. We then ran into the forest, going deeper and deeper without even giving a second thought. Then I happened to notice a big cave in a gradual, wide ravine. We changed our course heading for it we found nests that belonged to small white feathered animals. Walter being a biologist confirmed the creatures on the island are in fact dinosaurs. “I don’t know how they got here, but these animals are definitely dinosaurs, the long tails the scales the feathers, they are definitely dinosaurs. The one’s that attacked us must’ve been some sort of large raptors, while the other one was “T. rex” shouted Emma “no, but its close enough.” Continued Walter. “We better get some sleep then” said Oliver, as each of us slept in on either side of the extremely deep cave.

The next morning I woke up to see Emma and Oliver playing with the small, surprisingly cute dinosaurs. The animals were no larger than a common dog, and had very big eyes and a small beak. Walter however was nowhere to be seen. “Where is Walter?” I asked. “He went out to retrieve some food from the wreckage.” said Emma enthusiastically. “For how long?” I asked again “about 40 minutes, he said he’d return after an hour” said Emma. “But he told us that you should stay here” said Oliver. I nodded, about 10 minutes later Walter returned to the cave with 2 human sized bags with him one containing food and the other containing 5 flashlights, 8 batteries,  3 blades, 5 flares and the shotgun Emma found, along with about 24 shells. “Where the heck did you find all this stuff?” said Emma. ”In the ship’s basement I also found out it’s a Columbian navy ship. “said Walter.

DYNAMOSAURUS IMPERIOSUS - An Acrocanthosaurus - my absolute favorite theropod! How fantastic! I very much like the human element you have placed within your story; it gives the entire ordeal a sense of urgency! Excellent work! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us! :)

DYNAMOSAURUS IMPERIOSUS - It is alright. There will come a time in the future when we see more faces; it is just a matter of time. Keep your chin up! :)
