Mapusaurus vs Saurophaganax

A hunting team of Mapusaurus prowl a desert in search of prey. This hunting team hasn't eaten in 2 weeks and has not even had the pleasure of sniffing a single animal besides their own pack.

The Mapusaurus are lead by the adult male of the pack his name is, "Earth" and he is determined to find food for his pack, they will not die as long as he is the leader.

Earth and his pack of seven continue their search, starving, thirsty. One of the pack members falls on his knees, Earth turns around and run's towards him with fierce speed, but it was too late. The Mapusaurus dropped dead from starvation and thirst.

Earth now traumatized by this predicament presses forward with his squad now dropped to six. The rest of the Mapusaurus looked like they were ready to drop too, until, Earth looked up in the distance and sees green, a tree!! Earth roars to the others singaling them to follow and they all dash towards the tree. Spirit and vibrance flow through their veins once again as they proceed through the steaming desert on stamina and spirit.

When they finally reach the top they're not disappointed, a gorgeous river stretches out to a rich mesa covered with thorny branches and tall trees, the Mapusaurus have one last shot for food.

The Mapusaurus reach the river and drink to their hearts content before laying down for a rest.

After resting for a bit they continue their search for herbivores, dashing through mangroves, and steep mountains, they finally see something.

In the distance, the Mapusaurus see a herd of Argentinosaurus. Knowing they have struck gold they begin the hunt, the can't fail. Earth leads them through the thorny branches blocking their path to the mangroves, when they reach the destination the Argentinosaurus become much more visible.

Earth knowing this is their final chance at eating sends the team off to hunt the beast with him in the lead. The Mapusaurus while running see a straggling Argentinosaurus away from the herd, he is their target. Earth runs up to the behemoth's legs and bites it landing the first strike, the Argentinosaurus bellows in pain but is no where near death. Swinging with his mighty tail the Argentinosaurus clambers at the Mapusaurus, desperately fighting for his life. 

The other pack members latch onto his legs again and desperately cut him, the Argentinosaurus swats them like flies, but yet they don't give up. Earth reaches high ground above the Argentinosaurus, running atop a high cliff Earth leaps from his ground and lands on the Argentinosaurus's back, this could be the end.

Earth chomps on the neck of the behemoth desperately clinging for his life, the Argentinosaurus screaming in pain falls over.

The other pack members bite his neck finishing him off, they finally have a meal.

**Saurophaganax's story.**

Deep in the dense mangroves of a mesa, lies a lone Saurophaganax. This King of Predators in his land walks through the mangroves with extreme confidence in his abilites, with his abnormally long arms he stomps through his land with fierce vigor, every stomp gives the earth a chilling shake.

Reaching the end of the Mangroves, our Saurophaganax named, "Master" stops for a breath something he hasn't done in awhile. He realizes he hasn't eaten in a long time due to the drought in the water supply back where he used to hunt, he needed a new food source and fast.

Master, now in a clay mountainous portion of the mesa walked to the top of a cliff and examined his surroundings. He saw nothing, knowing it could take days for him to reach a new food source he decided to go east and pray for the best.

Walking through the Mesa, Master see's a forest. Knowing animals are bound to congregate in their he speeds into the forest with a comforting feeling inside.

Master examines every hole of this forest looking for anything that he could swallow whole. While he searches though the forest he looks to his right and sees a battle happening, he examines closer, an Allosaurus is fighting a Carnotaurus for an Iguanodon.

Knowing an Iguanodon won't be enough food for him he continues searching in another direction. On the ground he sees a compsognathus, with un-visible speeds he grabs the small critter and swallows him whole.

Knowing that meal was not enough he continues through the forest sniffing about, until he sees an exit. He runs towards the exit and sees it leads back into another portion of the Mesa.

With no other options he heads into the Mesa and hopes for the best. After two hours of searching it is now night time, thundering and lightning profusely, Master still continues looking for food. When it seems like all is lost Master gets a familiar smell, Argentinosaurus. He dashes towards this scent, believeing he can take an Argentinosaurus, he never had to, as he see's a dead carcass of the behemoth.

Dashing towards it with vibrance he stops right in his tracks, six Mapusaurus guard the remains of this carcass.

Master's happiness turns to anger and fury, he believes he should take on the Mapusaurus but still has doubt in his abilities. He decides to wait for the perfect moment.

While the other Mapusaurus are sleeping with their bellys full, Earth guards their carcass with no give in his determination to keep his family safe.

Earth decides to rest for a moment still wide awake however, while thunder and lightning crowd his ears with extreme force he still senses something not of nature.

Rain pour's on his head with extreme force as he sniffs out this un-usual scent, Earth stands up and follows where the scent is leading him he must know what this is.

Meanwhile Master watches demoncially from a cliff side waiting for the perfect moment to strike the carcass, he continues to wait before he sees something inching closer to him, it was a Mapusaurus! Earth found the scent that was stalking him, a Saurophaganax, Earth was always told by his pack members to never take on one as their un-usual arms would decimate them in minutes.

Earth knowing he must not let him reach his pack engages the beast, Earth roars at Master and Master roars back. The both gaze into each others eyes waiting for the impending strike.

Master senses that Earth is the leader due to his guarding of the pack, knowing the team will fall in disarray if they find him dead, Master engages.

Earth is caught by suprise as Master grabs him by his body and tackles him off the mountain! They both roll down the cliff and fall onto a crackling cliff side.

Earth charges Master and bites him on the arms knowing they are his greatest threat, Master expecting this move as it had been done to him many times claws the inside of Earth's mouth.

Earth lets go, but not for long as he rams into Master. Master for the first time in his life feeling pain gets furious and charges Earth.

Master bites earth on the neck and bite-pushes him into a jagged rock, Earth dodges the rock, squeezes out of Masters grip and pushes him over.

Master knowing this is no run-of-the-mill predator decides to take a more defensive approach, and so does Earth. Rain flows over their heads with extreme speed, darkness ignites their night vision, and lightning makes them have rage.

Master tired of waiting claws Earth in the face, Earth bellows in pain as his eye was cut. Earth turns over and tail whips Master sending him almost stumbling off the cliff.

Earth now furious grabs onto Masters neck as he was stunned and pushes him off another section of the cliffside. Tumbling down the cliff in mid-fall they bite each other and Master claws Earth off and kicks him away from him.

The two land at a crumbling part of the cliffside, both extremely weakened. Master struggling to get up is pushed on the ground by Earth biting his back, Master getting tired of this fight turns his head around and bites Earths neck forcing him off.

Master then proceeds to grab Earths head, Earth stuck in this hold is brutely beaten. Master smacks Earths face profusely and pushes him into the mountainside with no mercy, Earth has no way of getting out.

Earth bellows in pain at this horrible turn of events while Master grins with malicious intent, Earth knowing he can not let his family down uses what's left of his strength to hold back against the extreme force of Master. He prevails and inches his way out of the grip before landing a perfect grabbing bite underneath Masters neck, Earth now in control doesn't let go of this grip as Master claws him profusely to get out.

While Earth is holding on Master stumbles them into a section of the cliffside not sheltered by a clay roof, from their as Earth is about to kill Master lightning strikes where they are.

They both are in disarray as the force of the lightning bolt lifts the cracks in the ground up sending them into frenzy, Earth and Master are both thrown away from each-other as the crack's rise up into pillars.

Earth lands on his side still taking an immense amount of pain, but he is still alive. Lightning strikes the area again, this time creating a pillar where Master was falling, Master lands directly on this pillar shattering his lower back.

Master now immobolized from his waist down, can no longer move. Earth stands up and stumbles towards Master, Earth gives him one last gaze insighting his victory before walking away, leaving him to die.
