MemberCompsognathusJul-01-2015 10:40 PMJust in case you haven't seen this video I thought I would share. It points out almost all of the easter eggs. I know that I missed some.
Does anyone notice the one major easter egg that was left out of this video????

Doesn't it look somewhat similar? Plus the JP music

MemberCompsognathusJul-02-2015 12:02 PMI think when Colin and Marshall were re-writing the script, they watched the first movie to see how many "Easter eggs" they could put in... Unfortunately, that ended up being the whole movie.
Like the low amount of raptors, In the film there was 4, Blue Charlie Delta and echo.
In JP there was three (I think, It was that or four) With their own alpha... Their alpha was the biggest one. There deaths are also fairly identical. 1 Was eaten, 1 was thrown into something. The other two don't count... Although I'd be interested in learning what burning raptor flesh smells like.
In my oppinion... the entire thing was an easter egg wrapped in delightful connections fo the first film.
Regardless, A lot of things i didn't notice were in this. Good find.

MemberCompsognathusJul-02-2015 4:35 PMI forgot about the water fall! It has to be the same one from JP right?
The one easter egg that should have been in that video is the shot of the I-rex's legs as it chases Owen.
This is a reference to the 3 separate scenes in JP where the raptors are chasing Tim and Lex in the kitchen and Ellie in the maintenance shed

MemberCompsognathusJul-04-2015 5:23 AMThere is also an easter egg in Jurassic World to the earlier stages of itself. When they track the Indominus via her implant, her signal can be seen on the big screen in the control room. Her code begins with 3 letters, wich given the name Indominus Rex, would make sense to be IRX, but instead it is DRX, wich "accidentally" coincides with the earlier version of her name, Diabolus Rex.

I noticed that and immediately thought it to have coincided with the original name. I'm not sure what the post-production staff was thinking here, giving it a "D" instead of an "I", but I have a hard time believing that a movie of this scale let that 'oops' moment slip by.
JPJoe,
Great comparison. Never noticed that.
