FIGHT!
The Ankylosaurus munched noisily, the plant was good. His herd was 40 feet away, he thought he was safe. A loud footstep. He didn’t hear. Another. He didn’t hear. Another. He didn’t hear. Another. He finally looked up. He scanned the forest. Nothing, just plants. He herd the river flowing, he wondered over to it, not realising he was now 70 feet away. He finally reached it. As he went to dip his mouth in, he heard a loud thud then a low growl. He scanned nothing. Probably just my belly he thought.
But little did he know he was moments from death. He dipped his mouth in the fresh water. Then a huge foot landed on his head and crushed his skull under the water into the stones below. Blood came to the surface. No screaming, nothing. The herd was oblivious. The huge predator bent down, using her hands flipped over the young Ankylosaur. Then she slice its belly open, blood poured into the river and the near by stones of the bank.
It was the Indominus Rex. She pushed her head into the body, loudly eating and slapping her jaws together, she pulled chunks of meat and then intestines. She crunched through the ribs. She raised her head, her jaws bloody and red. She then used her camouflage and blended in with the background, safe and ready to rest. She sat down next to the, closed her jaws, then her eyes.
Some 500 meters away, a male Spinosaurus walked through the jungle. He picked up the scent of one of his favourite meals, Ankylosaurus. He finally came to a clearing. Hundreds of them, a whole herd were eating on low branches, ferns and plants. The young ran about playing, others rested. The Spinosaurus was hungry and mouth began to water. He continued to walking in the brush, hidden from the oblivious herbivores. He picked out a large Ankylosaur, it would make a great meal, and best of all, its leg was wounded and he was separated from the herd by some 70 meters.
The Spinosaurus, readied himself, tensed up, then sprang forward like a bullet. He smashed through the brush snapping branches and crushing plants. He came flying out and caught the prey by surprise. He lunged in and bit its wounded leg. It was still lying down and failed to react quickly. The Spinosaurus bit hard and twisted the already useless leg. It snapped and the Ankylosaur roared in pain, in then finally stood up into battle position. It smashed its tail into the ground as warnings. The Spinosaurus did not care, he was going to kill this animal.
The Spinosaurus charged in and snapped his jaws. He then mock charged. The Ankylosaurus swang to late, the Spinosaurus grabbed the tail in his jaws and bit down, applying all his jaw strength until he heard a crack. He then bit its leg and lifted it over, flipping into onto its back. Now the soft belly was exposed he stepped down on the tail to hold it in place. He went to bite down, but a tail slammed into his ankle. He roared as his felt immense pain. He looked to see another Ankylosaur, then soon the whole herd was bellowing at him, he now knew he needed another plan. He left not wanting more injuries.
He had done the hard part of flipping it over, but was angry he couldn’t finish it. He was walking back to the forest when he caught another scent, then another, then another. An Ankylosaur. Then…blood. The last one he had no idea what it was. But he followed it in hopes of a meal.
He arrived at a fast flowing river. The river was nosing. He then spotted a dead Ankylosaurus. It was a mess, it had been cut open, its skull crushed, gut half eaten and blood was everywhere. He could still smell something else but couldn’t see anything. He decided it was safe, he moved in to eat, there was much left, but it was more than nothing. He began to eat noisily.
The Indominus woke up to the sound of eating, her vision still blurry she stood up and bellowed. The Spinosaurus stopped eating and froze. He heard the roar, it was so close, but where? He scanned for a good minute or two, he had no clue what that smell was, what made that roar and where it came from.
The Indominus realized she was still cloaked, that’s why it hadn’t she her. She realized she would have another meal right here. But then a familiar roar ripped through the forest. She decided to wait. The roar was that of a mighty hunter, something almost every creature feared, the roar of a hunter and a king, a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
The huge animal appeared on the site. She was starving and not in the mood for ‘working things out’ she was going to take this kill and make it he own. Her starving child stood a few meters behind, looking around curiously, his green coloured skin was helpful to blend into compared to the brown of his 10 ton mother, who was now moving in.
She roared at the Spinosaurus who knew this would end with either of them dead. He roared back, there roars were very different but just as loud as each other. The Spinosaurus remembered his leg, and was not sure if he wanted to continue. The T-Rex bent in and grabbed the carcass with her huge jaws. Once she had the food in her position, she turned and began walking away, dragging her first meal in weeks along side.
The Spinosaurus was panting. He had gained nothing but and injury today. He decided he would not let a smaller predator take his food. He charged in. He bit the tail of the Rex, the Rex then released the food and roared out in pain. She shrugged the attacker off. They both stared at each other, not knowing they were being watched.
The Spinosaur slashed his claws, he began lashing out, and finally he made contact. A direct hit to the face. Blood dripping from the wounds on her face, she roared in return. She flashed her serrated teeth. Her baby hiding among the bushes. Then another roar. They both turned to the forest. They heard footsteps and then the animal came into view, a huge bull V-Rex with the remains of a Foetodon in his jaws. He stared them down getting closer, as he moved faster, he swallowed the rest of his previous meal. Once down, he roared. He charged into them, he made contact and knocked both them, the Spinosaurus lost his footing and tumbled over. The rex just gained her stance and shook her head, with her vision regained, she charged. She bit the V-Rex on the arm. The larger Rex roared and bit down on her back. She screamed in pain, the crooked teeth digging deep into her back almost to the bone.
He released, but as he released she pulled hard and jerked her head back, success. She ripped the arm right from the socket, causing an immense amount of blood. The blood spat out light a river, the stump red. He roared. They looked at each other. The rex panting, her back was in pain, blood was everywhere. The Spinosaurus roared as he appeared onto the scene again. All three looking at each other, panting and injured. All of a sudden, BOOM! The Indominus Rex uncloaked and charged she dodged the attack of the bull, slammed her head into the Rex who lost her footing and fell, then grabbed the Spinosaurus in her jaw. The bull V-Rex charged in, knocking the I-Rex, he bit down on her tail, she roared and swiped her hand claws, she hit his face and he released and stumbled around. She then walked over to the Spinosaurus who was dizzy from the poison, she hadn’t injected enough to kill him, but enough to really weaken him.
She raised her foot, about to stomp down on his face, but he refused to die, he bit her foot, but she shook him off, then kicked his face. He didn’t want to die, he refused to die, but he would. The attack came from the left side, the T-Rex charged and smashed the I-Rex in the ribs, shattering and breaking a few. The Spinosaurus realized she had saved him. She looked at him and growled lowly, not angrily, almost friendly, he looked back and did the same. They knew they had to work together to win.
The Vastatosaurus Rex roared. The I-Rex responded. Then the T-Rex and Spinosaurus both roared. It was clear. Indominus versus Vastatosaurus versus the T-Rex and Spinosaurus. The Indominus Rex charged, the Spinosaurus dodged and grabbed the I-Rex by the neck. He bit down, she shrugged him off. The Tyrannosaurus charged the bull charged, at the last minute the T-Rex dodged, the V-Rex went right into a tree. Stunned he tried to gain hist footing, but it was too late the T-Rex charged and bit his ankle, he roared. The Spinosaurus ran in and hit him, he flipped over the T-Rex and onto his back, wounded, he roared.
The I-Rex cloaked, the two turned and she was gone, they then heard screaming, they turned back and saw her using her hands twisting his neck until, snap. His head hit the floor with a thud. She then stepped on hit skull to end it. His skull crushed under all the weight, blood everywhere, it looked like a squished grape.
The I-Rex roared. The Rex and Spinosaurus looked at each other and separated. The Indominus was smart, she knew what they were doing, they were flanking her, left and right. But nothing could stop what happened next. She cloaked. They stood still confused. But the T-Rex knew she could smell her. She picked out the sent. But before she could react the I-Rex rammed in and smashed her over. The Spinosaurus charged in and bit her ankle, she realized he could see her because she was already bloody. She kicked back, hitting his snout. He back off, but before he could recover, she charged and bit his belly as he was leaning back. Then she knocked him backward sending him flying into a large rock and then falling on his side.
She walked over, she would finish it this time. But no, Rex came again. She grabbed the Indominus by the arm, she pulled, crack, she didn’t rip it off but she broke it, which was good as anything. She then pushed the I-Rex, she used her jaws to bite the neck of the Indominus.
The Spinosaurus was on the floor panting, bleeding, hurt. His vision blurry, just like his hearing. The Indominus was squealing. She had won, she would win he thought, he would die, but at least she could feed her child. Then the worst happened, the Indominus broke free of the grip, slashed the rex with her claws, bit her neck. She swung her around then let got. The rex stumbled and slammed hard into a rock. She fell backward and crashed into the ground with a large thud.
He felt his heart sink, the first time he had felt a connection and had feelings for another animal, it was taken away like that. The I-Rex roared into the air victorious. No, no, NO! He was not going to let that happen, he got to his feet with all his force and muscle he was standing, panting. He let out a huge roar. The I-Rex turned and growled she had underestimated him. She roared back. Then she charged. The Spinosaurus dodged, but with every move he felt immense pain.
Then he ran to were the Ankylosaur had died. He stood there roaring. The I-Rex knew he was hurt, knew he was dead, knew he was food. She was bloodthirsty, her eyes turned bright red, she charged. The Spinosaurus held his ground. Waiting she was meters away, then he did it. He used all his muscle in his tail and smashed the loose tree, the roots ripped out of the ground it tumble. The Indominus was too late. She looked up and realized. Her eyes widened, the first time she had felt fear. The tree crashed down over her back.
The Spinosaurus stood panting, he walked over. Her back was broken, blood was everywhere and she was squealing in pain. A branch had gone through her belly. Her head was resting in the water. She was coughing out blood. He raised his foot as she had done to many victims. If roared at her faced, then stomped down, CRUNCH! Her head was smashed, skull shattered just like the Ankylosaurus, her head lay in the water, destroyed. Blood covered the whole area.
The Spinosaurus walked over to the Rex. She was dead, eyes closed, at peace. He then her rustling in the bushes. Then a high pitched squeak. The baby T-Rex emerged. He saw the giant, but was not afraid, he saw what it did, it helped his mum and she helped it. It ran over not understanding. After a few minutes, he realized his mum was dead.
The Spinosaurus began walking away into the forest. The baby followed. He didn’t mind. He found a place to rest. The baby came at sat down next to him. He would take good care of it. He owed its mother, and he would protect it just like she did and raise it into a hunter until it was old enough to survive on its own.
15 years later.
The teenage Tyrannosaurus Rex stepped onto the scene. He remembered this place. The place was his mother died. The bones were all gone except that of the monster his mother had fought, whose bones littered the area, crushed. His thick hide was a striking green, he had yellow stripes, and he was fully matured. The strange thing that looked after him had disappeared a few years back, he missed it, although he had never seen and still hasn’t seen anything like it, he felt a connection with it. It had taught him things his mother never got time to. He came to a clearing, a huge herd of Ankylosaurus. He lay in wait ready. He sprang forward like a bullet…
And the Winner is… Spinosaurus!
This was might first fight it a while. Hope you guys enjoyed it! Sorry for typos haven't had time to edit it.
See you later.

MemberAllosaurusMay-17-2015 9:50 AMI was a bit scared reading the title, because literally one contestant was off before it would be a battle I had in mind...
Nice fight BTW! I loved the ending.

MemberCompsognathusMay-17-2015 11:38 AMNice one, fantasy v. reality. Though the whole poisonous bite of the I-Rex is outdated. She can only have a 90 degree open mouth.
Update: Incoming post-battle images!

MemberCompsognathusMay-17-2015 11:47 PM@LordVader: Thanks! I took it you were rooting for her, glad you were still happy though!
@Sci-Fi-King: Thanks! I had mixed feelings about the ending. I had few verisons. The Spinosaurus laid down and died. The baby Rex and Spino worked together as hunting buddys or the Spino let him be and walked off.
BTW What did you mean here?
"I was a bit scared reading the title, because literally one contestant was off before it would be a battle I had in mind..."
@Tyrannwright: Yeah I know about the bite, but I kind of wanted a "Ünstopable force" so I used it. Thanks!

MemberCompsognathusMay-20-2015 1:20 AMLord, sure do ;) Sci-Fiking, can't wait I have one planned, I just need to write it and pick a winner...I have planned the area, when, etc.
Im just not sure who to pick! I want Rexy to win, I think will in the movie, but thats the obvious thing and kind of heard it hundreds of times... The I-Rex I think would be good because it would surprise it, it would be brutal but I kinda what her to die as the 'enemy'...
Lastly Spinosaurus...thats who I want to win, but I don't think it could, I don't think people will like that either and It more about the other two...
Well I'm writing the other one I mentioned Lord, its kind a tribute to the fallen Rexes over the past day! XD It is also for the (Sad music) 'heart ache and suffering you felt' (:D) Any way I think you will like it, I will tell you a few contestants.
Tyrannosaurus Rex (family of 6)
Giganotosaurus (1)
Allosaurus (2 mated pair)
Nasutoceratops (1)
Diabloceratops (1)
Sinraptor (2)
Aucasaurus (3)
Dilophosaurus (1)
Austroraptor (1)
Pyroraptor (9)
More to come... It may seem like a lot but some will get slaughtered, quickly...
BTW Numbers aren't final.

MemberCompsognathusJun-28-2015 3:24 PMI liked the Story and it was awsome! 50 percent because Spino won! Personally i am team Spino. Mostly is because it was full of emotion and Action. This is the best Article i have everr read in my life!

MemberAllosaurusJan-10-2016 10:04 AMyay Spino and T. rex teamed up
my scenario: V. rex is the biggest, everyone else is able to overpower and kill him. T. rex and Spino team up to fight and kill I. rex, who betrays them after the V. rex dies. The T. rex and Spino look at each other and leave each other alone.
Winner: T. rex and Spinosaurus

MemberAllosaurusFeb-07-2016 4:29 AMWhy not use Rexy for the T. rex and don't kill her off? She's the largest JP T. rex anyway.

MemberCompsognathusSep-05-2016 10:09 AMHonestly I would have added my hybrid to the mix. Torgosaurus Rex Laramidiensis. basically a v rex with grasping hands, a spino sail, a 70 foot long body, 35 foot high, and 20 tons. that's the bull subtract 5 from all numbers for female
