Let's meet our contestants:

Yinlong

Yinlong was a small herbivore that lived in China during the Late Jurassic period. These individuals are 1.5 feet tall, 3 feet long, and 120 pounds. The alpha male is 2.5 feet tall, 4 feet long, and 95 pounds.

Proceratosaurus:

Proceratosaurus is a small carnivore that lived in England during the Mid Jurassic period. This individual is 3 feet tall, 6 feet long, and 120 pounds.

BEGIN!!!

Near the mountain range in the northwest portion of the island lies a small desert. Surprisingly, many species live here. Just a couple hundred feet away from an oasis, a Yinlong pack contently rolls around in the sand, taking dust baths. However, soon a carnivore around their size comes running at them! The creature leaps into the air and landed on the back of one of the ceratopsians. The other four Yinlong run off, screeching. When the dust clears, they see their attacker- a Proceratosaurus: the earliest tyrannosaur.

The primitive tyrannosaur hisses at them, but the creatures wave their tails, intimidating the creature around their size with their small, primitive quills. The Proceratosaurus steps back, and the Yinlong pack begins screeching at their attacker. As a kill is hard to come upon in these areas, plus the fact that the Proceratosaurus is used to the small forests near the mountains, force him to stay and fight. Snaring at his opponents, he charges them and slams his small horn into the smallest one’s left shoulder. Screeching in pain, the creature pulls itself free, but the Proceratosaurus bites the creature’s neck. Shaking his head around, he tears a large chunk of flesh from the creature, killing it.

As he continues his assault, the Proceratosaurus feels himself being knocked to the ground. Looking up, he sees the largest Yinlong- the (larger) alpha male- slam down on him. As the herbivore prepares to attack again, the Proceratosaurus kicks his adversary in the chest. Wheezing, the leader takes a deep breath as the Proceratosaurus gets up. However, the other male rams the carnivore in the leg with his head. Screeching, the Proceratosaurus slashes the creature’s face with his toe claws. This leaves only a minor wound, as the alpha male knocks him to the ground again before he can do serious damage.

The Proceratosaurus desperately bites and kicks as the two males and stronger female take turns beating him. Finally, he gets an idea! As the alpha male snaps at the carnivore’s neck, the Proceratosaurus rolls over and gets up. He runs off about twenty feet and stares at the Yinlong pack. They stare right back at him. Finally, after thirty seconds of dead silence, the Proceratosaurus screeches and charges his opponents. He leaps into the air and lands on the alpha male’s side, knocking him to the ground and begins ripping the herbivore’s flesh with his blade-like teeth and sharp claws.

Bellowing in shock and pain, the alpha male waves his quilled tail in distress. The other male rams into the carnivore, forcing him off the alpha’s back. Grunting in frustration, the Proceratosaurus screeches and snaps at his new attacker. As this fails, he snarls and lunges his head forward as the Yinlong tries to back off. The Proceratosaurus’ horn leaves a five-inch, diagonal slash in the creature’s frill. The pack slowly backs off, seeing the predator won’t give up. The Proceratosaurus screeches in victory and begins feasting on his meal.

Winner: Proceratosaurus!

His size advantage and agility came to his advantage in this situation.

^Thanks! :) I'm not sure about the weight, so I might drop it a bit.

Try a hundred pounds. Proceratosaurus is a rather slender animal.
