Balaur
This small carnivore that lived on Hateg Island, Romania, during the Late Cretaceous period. This individual is 2 feet tall, 6 feet long, and 150 pounds.
Magyarosaurus
This medium herbivore lived on Hateg Island, Romainia, during the Late Cretaceous period. This individual is 5 feet tall, 18 feet long, and 1 ton.
BEGIN!
In the dinosaur island’s lagoon, there’s a smaller island. However, the waters surrounding the island are filled with aquatic predators, making escape impossible. However, the dinosaurs that did manage to make it to the island were small animals, none of them weighing over one ton. These were the dwarf dinosaurs of the ravine in the southeast area of the island.
A small herd of Magyarosaurus browsing on a small cliff approaches the coast, watching an Ichthyosaurus group jump out of the water. However, as a small Platecarpus attacks one, the herd moves away from the area before they can fall in. However, a much worse fate awaits them…
As the herd travels through the trees, they look for predators. When they don’t see any, they continue their walk to their normal feeding grounds. Suddenly, a Nanuqsaurus bursts out of the trees and rams a Magyarosaurus to the ground. The rest of the herd runs of, hearing the cries of the downed Magyarosaurus as the Nanuqsaurus finishes it off. When the herd reaches their normal feeding grounds, they see a Europasaurus herd feasting on the ferns and small trees. However, the group begins to feel like they’re being watched.
Suddenly, a Balaur pair runs at the herd, screeching. The herd begins to run off, but the pair traps one individual in the forest. As the raptors slowly approach their victim, a larger Balaur leaps down from a tree onto the sauropod’s back. The pair begins to back off a bit, but the Magyarosaurus bellows in fear and rams the raptor into a tree repeatedly. As the carnivore falls off the creature’s body, the Magyarosaurus stomps on it with one foot. The injured raptor goes limp with a quiet wheeze as the wind is knocked out of his crushed ribs.
The Balaur pair watches as an old, battle-scarred Balaur charges the Magyarosaurus, slashing at one of the sauropod’s thick legs. However, the Magyarosaurus knocks its attacker to the ground and prepares to crush it. The Balaur pair slowly walks to the creature’s sides as the irritated sauropod fights the wounded Balaur. As the Magyarosaurus stomps on the old, weak creature, the original pair leaps onto the sauropod’s sides.
Bellowing in pain and surprise, the Magyarosaurus tries to shake off the creatures. It pins one against a tree and attempts to crush it. However, the now injured and weakened carnivore drops off of the sauropod and attacks one of the legs. As the Magyarosaurus bellows for help, the other Balaur begins to attack the neck. It slashes and bites spinal cord area while the Balaur on the ground begins to attack the creature’s chest…
A loud bellow attracts the creatures’ attention. A Magyarosaurus pair charges the carnivores, slowly followed by another, and another, and another. The rest of the herd came to rescue their herd mate! One Magyarosaurus hits the grounded Balaur into a tree as the attacked Magyarosaurus slowly backs away. The Balaur still on the sauropod attempts to run off, but the sauropods quickly crush it.
The Magyarosaurus herd bellows in victory, but the attacked sauropod falls to its knees. The creature is shocked, exhausted, and has lost a lot of blood. In a few seconds, the creature slams onto the ground. The herd mourns their loss for a couple minutes before moving on as pterosaurs circle the battlefield.
Winner: Tie!
Yes, the herd came to rescue the Magyarosaurus, but the sauropod held its own against the carnivores. However, without the herd, the Balaur pack would've won.

MemberTriceratopsApr-19-2015 2:01 PMWasn't Balaur disproved as a dromaeosaur and later described as a prehistoric bird? There was a discussion topic on it a while back?

MemberAllosaurusApr-19-2015 2:47 PM^I'm not sure. All of the websites that popped up said Balaur was a dinosaur. Either way, I have done a dinosaur vs. non-dinosaur before. :)
