Turok
MemberCompsognathusMar-09-2015 5:27 AMSo as always, its just a rumor, but this one is intriguing because, in the new lego sets, the dilo ambush, you can see the dilo is as or even bigger than the raptor figures! This could just be for the toy, but still nice to talk about, what do you think forum?

Something Real
MemberTyrannosaurus RexMar-09-2015 5:48 PMTUROK - I certainly hope we see a full-sized Diloposaurus in Jurassic World! That would certainly add...color...to the park! ;)

That's some seriously interesting sexual dimorphism with the dilos. If the males don't have a frill or spit venom, then what do they do?
Is there more to the Mosasaur topic than meets the eye? Maybe a jab at Sea World because of Blackfish?
And lastly, what a cool way to stay true to Crichton's work in using Suchomimus in a river chase!
The only one that I actually think is unnecessary is Owen's niece. Fine, she likes raptors, but with her not even having a role in this movie, or even a major role, I don't see it being necessary to bring her position up in the plot. But still, I trust Spielberg/Trevorrow and co.

MemberCompsognathusMar-09-2015 11:13 PMThat would be really cool if they had a Suchomimus scene like the Tyrannosaur river scene in the book. I have read the book and it is really nice. If you guys haven't then you should.
I also have this theory that Jurassic World is going to be more similar to the novel than the original movie because
1. The book has a river cruise just like the Cretacous Cruise
2. The book also has an Aviary
3. And finally, the book mentioned a mosasaur exhibit
What do you guys think?

That tweet...I don't know what to with it.
JP: The Game, which is movie canon, establishes that the Dilophosaurs on Isla Nublar are stunted; smaller than expected, due to some genetic anomoly.
The only possible explanation is that the wild dilophosaurs that live in the northern part of the island have been breeding, and in their second or third generation have not experienced the stunted growth problems that affected the original genetic creations. It is a long shot, although not completely impossible.
