Allotitan
MemberCompsognathusFeb-06-2015 7:41 PMI was gonna wait until I finished the story, or at least most of it before I posted this, but I really wanted to share it so here it is. Next one won't be out for a while. Both my science and my algebra teacher decided to give me a bunch of projects, quizzes, and tests.
Part 1:
“What’s that you got there Wu?”
“Nothing Mr. Hammond Sir, just the last Tyrannotitan you asked for, it’s about to hatch.”
“Well Wu,” said John Hammond, “Why the hell didn’t you call me? I must meet with every dinosaur, we spared no expense after all.”
John Hammond leaned in closer to the incubator carrying the delicate egg, which held a precious, and expensive, life form. He knew what was inside. It was the last Tyrannotitan he needed for his Tyrannotitan exhibit. He knew that when this small egg hatched, one of the most fearsome predators to ever exist on earth would walk again.
“Which Tyrannotitan is this?” John Hammond inquired.
“The last one of the pack sir, the fourth one.” Wu answered back, surprised by John Hammond’s questions. John was usually at the “other end” of the park spectrum, caring more about the money that the animals that inhabit his park.
At that moment, the room went silent as a faint, but defining crack sounded in the room. John and Wu went up to the incubator with the egg and watched closely. The tiny figure poked its way out into the world. It was bright, but this young Tyrannotitan was brave. He clawed and pecked his way out of the egg, and stood up on the warm grass of the incubator, soaking in amniotic fluid.
Almost as soon as he got out of his egg, he was grabbed up in some giant hands and carried onto a cold, hard examination table. There, he was pricked, tagged, and felt all over or any signs of defects. Troy was met face to face to an old man with a white beard.
“Hello! My, are you beautiful,” said Hammond.
The Tyrannotitan disliked the loud man immediately.
John looked over at Wu and they discussed what to do with the Tyrannotitan. The baby Tyrannotitan looked at the men confused at what they were saying. He heard words like “pack” and “the park”, but the words he heard the most often were “Site B”. John and Wu looked back at the Tyrannotitan.
“He’s got to have a name Henry, the guests wouldn’t like it if we called him Tyrannotitan: Specimen 4.”
“How ‘bout Troy? You know ‘T’ Troy, ‘T’ Tyrannotitan.”
“Troy… Wu that’s brilliant! There may be a genius in you after all.”
“Thanks,” Wu said sarcastically.
Troy.
The baby Tyrannotitan liked that.
