Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole "I-Rex" thing was just like, say, a code name for the Allosaurus so fans would know. I still think it's genetically altered, but I think it is a genectially altered Allosaurus. What are your thoughts?

MemberCompsognathusJan-22-2015 2:41 PMIt's been confirmed that its a hybrid between T-Rex, Raptor, Cuttlefish, and Death Adder. It even says in the trailer its a hybrid. So it isn't an Allosaur, I'm afraid. Can't shoot ya for wishful thinking.

The arms are well-sized and the crests are in the right place, so I'm willing to bet that Horner and co looked at some allosaurs for inspiration. But she looks too weird to be an actual dinosaur, so the visual designers hit the nail on the head with her appearance.

if anything it looks more carcharadontosaurus or giganotosaurus looking IMO
