BEGIN!
A Pachycephalosaurus is eating a small fern near his herd. He looks in the distance, feeling like he’s being watched. The dinosaur doesn’t see anything and continues to eat. He eats a small piece of the fern off, and then eats more and more. The creature barely has time to react when something charges out of the forest at him.
A small male Ceratosaurus runs at the potential meal. The carnivore lost his territory to a Torvosaurus pair about a week and he hasn’t eaten anything besides a small lizard in three days. The Pachycephalosaurus begins to run off, bellowing. The Ceratosaurus bites onto the edge of his tail. However, the Pachycephalosaurus just runs faster and begins to drag the Ceratosaurus along the ground. Eventually, the Ceratosaurus lets go, giving the Pachycephalosaurus too much of a speed boost too fast, pushing the creature to the ground.
As the Ceratosaurus approaches the herbivore, something rams into his side. He looks to his left and sees another Pachycephalosaurus about to kick him. The Ceratosaurus grabs onto the creature’s foot and begins to stand up, pushing his attacker to the ground. However, the first Pachycephalosaurus rams into him and kicks his side a couple times. The new Pachycephalosaurus bites the Ceratosaurus’s arm, breaking it. The Ceratosaurus roars in pain and tries to wiggle his arm free. The first Pachycephalosaurus tries to ram into his chest, but the Ceratosaurus lunges forward and bites the creature’s neck.
The Pachycephalosaurus bellows in pain, but kicks the Ceratosaurus away. The second Pachycephalosaurus backs off and watches his herd mate ram the Ceratosaurus’s chest. The blow knocks the wind out of the Ceratosaurus and pushes him to the ground. However, he kicks the Pachycephalosaurus, cutting it with his toe claws. Eventually, the Pachycephalosaurus backs off, and the Ceratosaurus gets up.
Both creatures circle each other, each planning their next move. Eventually, the Pachycephalosaurus charges. The Ceratosaurus narrowly avoids being rammed, and then realizes how to bring down the creature. The Ceratosaurus taunts the Pachycephalosaurus, and the creature charges. The Ceratosaurus does it again, causing the herbivore to charge again. Eventually, the two reach the edge of the forest…
After a couple more taunts, the Pachycephalosaurus is close enough to the forest for the Ceratosaurus to finish his plan. As he taunts the Pachycephalosaurus, it charges. However, as the Ceratosaurus sidesteps, he grabs onto the creature’s neck and slams it into a tree. He lets go, leaving the Pachycephalosaurus disorientated. Then, he slams the creature into a few more trees, before crunching down on its neck, killing it. The Ceratosaurus begins to happily eat his new meal as the Pachycephalosaurus herd walks off.
Winner: Ceratosaurus
