Xenotarsosaurus
Xenotarsosaurus was a large carnivore that lived in Argentina during the Early Cretaceous period. This individual is 10 feet tall, 24 feet long, and 2 tons.
Xenoceratops
Xenoceratops was a large herbivore that lived in Canada during the Early Cretaceous period. This individual is 11 feet tall, 23 feet long, and 2 tons.
BEGIN!
A Xenotarsosaurus is walking through a dry semi-desert. Soon, it finds water! The carnivore runs up to the pool, but he sees a gigantic Xenoposeidon has beaten him to it. He snarls at the sauropod, which rears up to its full height.
The Xenotarsosaurus roars at the sauropod before walking off. He sits down, waiting for the creature to finish. Eventually, the Xenoposeidon finishes. The Xenotarsosaurus runs up to the almost empty area and begins eagerly drinking. Soon, the water puddle is down to about a cup in volume. The Xenotarsosaurus hears a loud bellow in the distance, and walks over to investigate.
The carnivore sees a male Xenoceratops approaching him. This species of ceratopsian is normally found in river deltas, and the Xenotarsosaurus is confused. The Xenoceratops is bruised, weak, and has a cracked horn. The Xenotarsosaurus growls at the dinosaur, which bellows at him. The ceratopsian, which has bad eyesight, charges.
The Xenotarsosaurus is confused and barely has time to react before it’s flung backwards onto the ground. The carnivore roars in surprise before getting up. Not looking for a fight, he backs off a bit. The Xenoceratops hears the carnivore roaring, and steps forward, bellowing. He shakes his head from side to side, showing his colorful frill. The Xenotarsosaurus continues to back off before the Xenoceratops sees the area the Xenotarsosaurus landed, and begins following the footprints…
Soon, the Xenoceratops finds the Xenotarsosaurus and lunges forward. He lands one of his horns in the Xenotarsosaurus’s chest. The horn barely penetrates the carnivore’s skin, as he began walking away when the Xenoceratops lunged. The Xenotarsosaurus runs away, and the Xenoceratops chases him. Eventually, the Xenoceratops gets tired and slows down. The Xenotarsosaurus takes the opportunity and walks off.
As the Xenotarsosaurus begins drinking in a nearby pool, he sees something coming at him from the side. The Xenoceratops heard his drinking and splashing from a close area and curiously followed the small blood trail and footprints. As the Xenotarsosaurus begins to run away, the Xenoceratops rams into his side. The carnivore falls into the water and begins to kick and bite the ceratopsian as it attacks him. The ceratopsian begins to back off a bit after the Xenotarsosaurus kicks his chest and rakes his claws down it. The water turns red as the creatures recover from their wounds. As the Xenotarsosaurus slowly gets up, the Xenoceratops rams him to the ground and stomps on him a little bit more before biting his neck. The Xenotarsosaurus roars in pain as the Xenoceratops pulls his neck while pressing down on his body…
The Xenotarsosaurus wakes up, finding the Xenoceratops walking away to another water puddle. The Xenotarsosaurus tries to get up, yet his whole body hurts. The Xenoceratops fractured a few of the carnivore’s ribs, a couple bones in his spine, and crushed the bones at the tip of his tail. The carnivore also suffers from a sprained leg, a cracked toe claw, multiple cuts and bruises throughout his body, and a few missing teeth. Eventually, the Xenotarsosaurus gets up and notices that the Xenoceratops is gone. He limps off, defeated.
Winner: Xenoceratops
The cerature's random attacks and the Xenotarsosaurus not expecting it made him the victor of this strange battle.

MemberAllosaurusJan-02-2015 1:27 PMIn case anyone's wondering, large herbivorious creatures today have been known to randomly attack, so that's where I got the idea for the Xenoceratops to attack.

MemberTriceratopsJan-02-2015 5:41 PMNice perspective on this, and I've heard of large herbivores doing this kind of thing to any animal of their choosing. I heard once that a small herd of teenage bull elephants went into musth early (because apparently the presence of older bulls suppresses the onset of musth), and began to not only attack, but also sodomize and kill rhinos.
