MemberCompsognathusDec-14-2014 3:28 PMHello everyone,
From my recent post concerning "leaks" I talked about a new dino hybrid that is going to be revealed at the end of the movie called the "Arlix" a Trex, raptor, mosasaur, frog, and gorilla.
My first thoughts: NO! GOD NO! PLEASE GOD NO! Which I guarantie everyone else felt the same way.
Now I said these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, though its more like a teaspoon of salt.
Some seem real, (raptors in the kitchen, Rex getting a lot of scenes and hopefully plieosaur attack!), but this is just stupid.
Im crossing my fingers that it is not real because the gorilla thing is just stupid. Why a gorilla and not a pterosaur or crocodile or something other than a mammal.
It it could be mentioned as a failure before the D-Rex, but thats it. I do not want to see this in the film. I think Colin knows better.
So tell me what you think about this if their is a chance it is in the movie will you ever watch another JW again.
Also I managed to find some more leaked stuff out.
1. Dilo will be in it. It will kill a guy peeing on the woods :)
2. The thing Claire is luring out with the flare is T-Rex.
3. Merchandise will be released in may.
4. No main characters will die.
5. The shadow over Ty is D-Rex.
Again possibility to be fake.

MemberCompsognathusDec-14-2014 3:36 PMI think it might just be a Future "Idea" that they're planning...
It's impossible Regardless.
Most of these leaks seem more real then the last, But again. There's always the chance we're just being fed lies.
I'm working on a post the Organizes all the leaks you've provided and looks at them from a Cannon and fan stand point!

3. Cool! :)
4. Like most movies. *Sigh*
5. KNEW IT!
(Also, is it weird that I wanna see Dr. Wu be killed by the D. Rex, as the character being killed by his own creation?)

"But your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should."
simply put it this way, why the Arlix shouldnt be in the movie is not about whether it could be, but more about whether it should be, after all this is still just a movie aimed to entertain people, but majority of these people are JP fans like you and me, and the last thing we need is seeing our beloved franchise turn into a mutant-inspired circus.
The idea of the Arlix would be cool to the people who talk and think about dinosaurs as monster freaks and know very limited to nothing about their world not to the enthusiasts like us.

MemberCompsognathusDec-14-2014 6:05 PMDon't just judge this so-called "Arlix" by the DNA it has, it depends on what the DNA is for. Perhaps the Gorilla DNA in "Arlix" may just be for intelligence, not for fur and all that stuff. Though let me say that the name "Arlix" sounds awesome. Then again "Arlix" may just be an idea from the common internet troll.

MemberCompsognathusDec-14-2014 8:05 PMHeres the thing.
It takes a Super SUPER, Large amount of Genetic knowlede, More then to just make the dinosaurs them selves, To narrow down Genetics of other Speices and add them to the Code.
If you had super Hyper intelligent Space alien understanding of Genetics, You could probably do this, Narrowing each down for each thing...
But, We are not Hyper intelligent space Aliens.
We have a fair current understanding of genetics, We can acheive Dinosaurs today (We just need the funding).
This is the more real side of Sci-Fi, JP Was inspired off of the fact that we had found a Signifigant amount of DNA In a T-Rex femur when It had to be cut in half.
The reason this series has had so much love, Is the same reason Tim hortons shouldn't have sold out to Burger king.
Authenticity.
It was Possible during the First JP to acheive that.
It is possible to make dinosaurs today.
But hybrids, Are going to be difficult.
We can just barely make them today with the DNA we already know, Why would we be able to do it with Forgien DNA?

From what i heard, its pretty much true that we can clone dinosaurs like they did in jurassic park, but the funding is not the problem actually, its just that scientists are still unable to find the needed dna, it is said that its really hard to obtain 100,000 year old dna, how much more is a million? a 65 million?. . and yep amber doesnt really work.

MemberCompsognathusDec-15-2014 3:39 AMNice post! I hate the idea of the Arlix...though the rumours are good!
Fav is Dilo! Yeah! XD

MemberCompsognathusDec-17-2014 3:56 PMWhy don't we try to ask Colin on his twitter. Ask him that is there another kind of hybrid in this film. I'm sure if there isn't he will simply reply since it seems like most people don't fancy the idea. That would help us measure the trustworthiness of these info as well.
Just a suggestion from a guy who doesn't have a twitter account. :)
