MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 12:49 PMI do think the D-Rex is awesome, but you're title is suggesting a different topic. Either edit it so that it matches, change the discussion so that it matches the title, or I can do it. Your choice :)

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 1:07 PMI love d.rex. Though I am not sure how it resembles a cuttlefish or snake.

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 1:17 PMCuttlefish can camoflague and I think D-Rex can too. The snake part though, I'm not sure. Maybe its venemous.

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 1:19 PMRex Fan, check out my post on the Cuttlefish Documentary. It may just suggest a lot of the awesome features D-Rex might be able to do with that Cuttlefish DNA, maybe even having the ability to hypnotize or stun its prey.
There is no such thing as a pure predator. A meat-eater is eit

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 1:31 PMthey should have used a chameleon instead of a cuttlefisfood they wanted camoflouge.

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 1:57 PMJudging by what I have seen, a Cuttlefish is better at camoflouge, it can change colors quicker I believe. Plus, it can look like, say, coral by not only turning pink (or another coral color), but it can also morph its sking into the the shape of a coral.

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 3:19 PMa chamelon can do the same. i know it is slower but it sounds more realistic to have added chameleon DNA the cuttlefish DNA. you know, since chameleons are reptiles?

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 6:04 PMChameleons do it in about the same time as the cuttlefish do. However, they don't change coloration to blend in with their environment; that's a misconception. Instead, their color changes intiated by temperature or temperament of the animal for example:

Cuttlefish, on the other hand, do change coloration (even texture of the skin!) to blend into their environment:

So, use of the cuttlefishs' DNA would make much more sense then a Chameleons.
Nature doesn't deceive us; it is we who deceive ourselves.

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 8:17 PMI think the D-Rex is cool as long as they don't go Sy-Fy Nuts with it, but other than that it seems like it's gonna be really cool, I wonder hw the cuttlefish, Camo will work.
