My real-life best friend (member: indiana jones) told me that the 'Jurassic World' trailer was released. I didn't already know that it had been released because I haven't been on Scified in a while (forgive me :C). I was excited to see it, but he said it was not pleasant to watch. He showed it to me on Youtube and believe me, I definitely NOT pleased.
My reasons why
- Lack of Ian Malcolm in the trailer
- That “gyro-ball”
- The fact that they didn’t learn their lesson from the previous films
- Cheesy dialogue such as “What’re they cookin’ up in there?”
- FINALLY the mother of all reasons why this trailer didn’t please me: RIDING A MOTORCYCLE WITH A PACK OF VELOCIRAPTORS! So they have trained Velociraptors to be security guards?! IMPOSSIBLE! Some say that you can train any animal, but if that is so then why didn’t they do that in the first movie?!?!?! Even if they are somehow “trained” then we wont get any awesome Velociraptor vs human scenes!
(P.S.: I’m not going to complain about the CGI right now because it’s just the trailer CGI, and I was told that it will be getting better. :/ )
SO! What are your thoughts on the 'Jurassic World' trailer? Please tell me in the comments below! :)

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 8:38 AMHere's some opinions of what I thought of the parts you didn't like.
1. Ian Malcolm will not be in the movie.
2. I thought they were pretty cool!
3. Does any movie that has sequels
4. I agree the dialogue could be better, but we've only heard snippets of it, so I'm not going to judge it.
5. I was actually against at first too, but after seeing the trailer, I'm actually all for it.
Here's why I loved it!
6. I love the idea of the D-Rex
7. The movie looks like it is going to be very good.
8. Finally! They have included a Mosasaur!

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2014 1:42 PM1. I kind of hoped he or Dr.Grant would come back but there's really no reason for them to.
2. A little futaristic but in a world where they can make dinosaurs this does not seem to far fetched
3. Almost any other Sequel
4. Sounds a cheesy but I'm not going to judge that yet.
5. Personally, I frickin hate that idea and I hope the raptors could turn on the humans, Being non biased, Each movie has kind of shown us a little more about raptors, Espically in the 3rd with their communicaton skills so in a way it's only natural that this happens as their next step.
And the movie is in Post Production so the effects will look a little better, the D-Rex is okay, I hope we see the T-Rex a lot too and it won't be killed off like it was in the third, I think it's going to be a good movie and I'll walk out of the theatre pleased.
