Prehistoric Mammals in Jurassic World?

While looking at the site I came across two strange things. First of all, look at this picture:

http://www.jurassicworld.com/media/map/locations/innovation-center/gallery/4.jpg

(Sorry, I tried to put the picture itself but my computer couldn't recognize it).

If you look in the bottom righ-hand corner you will see what appears to be a photo of a pig skull. I don't know of any prehistoric pigs famous enough to make it into Jurassic World, though it may be an Entelodont (Entelodonts were not true pigs). If not, then why would they put a pig skull there?

Second of all look at this quote I found on the Masrani Website:

November 2014: InGen expands its excavations to Siberia

The new InGen facility “Martel” based in Siberia has now opened. A rotating research team of nine scientists and an excavation crew of 45 persons will undergo 18 months of drilling at 42 glacial ice locations. The team hopes to find organic remains dating from 40,000 to 200,000 years ago. The state of the art research base has been two years in the making, and is believed to be situated over a group of wooly mammoths buried under the permafrost. "This could potentially herald a new era of scientific discovery, helping us map out our natural history like never before. I'm excited to finally see Martel on completion," expressed an excited Dr. Henry Wu, eager to add to InGen's ever growing genomic library.

So, Ingen (Masrani) is looking for Mammoth remains? Perhaps they are doing it to put in Jurassic World, or maybe even put them back in the wild (Mammoths would be alive today if it weren't for humans). BTW you can find this if you go to the home section then scroll down to the news section.

Anyways, you all tell me your thoughts on this!

Well, I don't think an Ice Age mammal is built to live on a tropical island.

Yeah you have good point. Though the so-called Entelodont is a different story ;)

Yeah, they have nick-named the "hogs from hell". The weird thing is, there closest living relatives are Whales.

I know right. And there were these things called bear dogs that were dogs that had the body of a bear. The Pleistocene/Oligocene Epocs were god awfully scary.

Well, who doesn't love mammoths? :)

Also, maybe they could breed the mammoths and sell them to other zoos and parks.

Not as scary as the Mesozoic. If its an animal, it had the ability and means to kill you in 15 different ways.

Alrighty...

Notice how the Thing says "Expedition" It means they are LOOKING for DNA Samples...

It doesn't mean they have any.

Even if INGEN did find some, Their wouldn't be enough time for them to Process them into Living creatures (Estimated wait period of around 2-3 years).

THe park goes down, Next year, In june.

Not enough time.

Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

Yes that is true. But the Entelodont, what about him?

Maybe there looking for Mammoths for a new attraction or something. Perhaps it would be like an elephant safari but you would ride a mammoth instead of an Elephant and you could see all of the Dinosaurs from the top of the Mammoth, that would be an awesome attraction.

Though, as you said, we aren't going to be seeing any Mammoths in Jurassic World anytime soon.

This tease to a Ice Age animal is perfect sequal content. Have the new company try to build another park with the Ice Age mammals in an attempt to make a safer park with slower animals. Though things go wrong and they have to use special raptors to take down a rouge predator. Probably won't happen but it's an idea.
