MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:20 PMHello everyone! As you know we have recieved leaked pics of what could be the JW legos! And as exciting it is that we know know what D-Rex looks like we also received some pics of the raptors. Know I now what your thinking, We already know what the raptors look like. Yes however, these raptors all have different colorizations and patterns. Know this could be just to make the lego sets different, but it could mean two things.
We get four different species of raptor, or the different colors will show the difference of the four main raptors. What I mean by this is that the raptit's may be a big part of the movie as we do know Pratts character is supposed to be studying them. They may have different names, personalities, etc... This may mean that they are protagonist, not antagonist and that their not necessarily the good guys, but do help the protagonist with problems like the D-Rex! What do you guys think!
The giant gate that read Jurassic Park was ruined. The gates where torn off and their where pieces of them all over the ground. Muldoon saw herbivore foot prints maybe Parasaurs or the Trike herd W

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:33 PMYes! I do believe you're on to something here! The varying colourations is quite interesting. Each raptor could play important and unique parts in the story but before we see any footage or anything maybe we should just take it with a grain of salt. Wonderful observation however!

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:37 PMMy theory is that it could be that some Nublar raptors survived and adapted to jungle life, hence the green coloring to blend in, and some were created for JW.

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:42 PMThat's another good theory Noah! Also I just noticed if these are in fact real the Rex will be orange!

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:46 PMBad news just found this picture. These Legos could be fake because one of the raptors matches this design, though it could be the first set we see!

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:54 PMWhat are the small little dinosaurs?

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:55 PMThat or they could just be repainting them for the JW set.

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 1:56 PMits often that toy companies re-use older molds so theres still a chance its real
EDIT: the smaller ones are said to be ceolophysis

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 2:00 PMThat is true about the reprints and Evan I heard that they where Compies, but like Dinoboy said they could be ceolophysis or maybe even Troodon!

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 2:01 PMThank you both! Ceolophysis would be amazing as would Troodon, thank you.

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 4:27 PMHere in Australia, its still morning time, I have slept in, brother off to soccer trials. I come down to check the forums, see this and I'm like :0 Holy s***! Thats so awesome, being a lego collector I'm so hyped!
D-Rex! Rex and raptors!
Yeah it's ceolophysis, I collected the Lego Dino sets, I know. My theories are...what JP carnotaur said, what Noah said and two more.
The top and bottom, first and last, could be males, green more color, where as the others may be female, and my other theory is that they might be from the other films, alough, they look different.
D-Rex satisfied, I like it, so cool!
And the T-Rex, just say we are going that males are green, females brown. I thought it was amale in the new movie, cause it says King on the brochure? Tho that might just be could that as a species. And if I right, and the new ones a male, Might it be Rexy? Old park but survived lik the raptors? Or they might be doing sets from all the movies.

MemberCompsognathusNov-15-2014 5:00 PMThere was a poster for comic con that showed a raptor standing by an old wrecked Jurassic Park Car right? What If that was a hint that some raptors live outside the park? Like they escaped early on or something. Could be a way to have many different types of Raptor in the movie. They know the Raptors are a fan favorite and I'd imagine they have to have a big part in the film. Having multiple different species of Raptor seems like somehting they'd do for sure.

MemberTriceratopsNov-15-2014 7:47 PMI actually think that, if these Lego designs are those of the real raptors in the movie, that these will be different individuals in Pratt's raptor behavioural study. From the nature documentaries that I've watched, it's common to name different individual animals so that you have a more in-depth look into their behaviour, letting you become familiarized.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-17-2014 7:53 AMJP CARNOTAUR - You've got a very compelling notion here! It may be a bit far-fetched, but the difference in coloration we're seeing in these cute little toys may be indicative of the fact that some of the raptors might be experimental "dead-ends" that were used during the process to create the D-Rex. As such, some of them might be able to shift in coloration! It's not exactly a safe bet, but it could be a neat premise if presented in an interesting fashion! Regardless, thank you for bringing this concept forward! :)

MemberCompsognathusNov-17-2014 12:45 PMNice Something Real, love that idea about the raptors! Also based on the green one we saw in the picture, I think that they(green) arn't, but the other ones with random colours are...Maybe the "dead-ends"were give to Owen to study...maybe they capture ones from the wild to make the D-Rex...and lefts over they give to Owen? Maybe...
