By 1997, Giacchino scored Dreamworks games The Lost World and Chaos Island, as well as Warpath: Jurassic Park in 1999. To have him scoring the next film on JP franchise is simply the best news I could get about this next instalment! Wow! =D

Apparently, The Theme is supposed to be like the original, Except slower and darker.

AdminTyrannosaurus RexOct-24-2014 10:53 PMThis was announced a few months ago. But it's also one of my favorite aspects of the production so far. Michael Giacchino is not only perfect for Jurassic Park, but also one of the best composers out there today. His sound is very different from the typical Zimmer-esque electronics we get from many of Hans Zimmer's clones and stands apart as some of the most unique work in blockbuster filmmaking today. He'll honor not only John Williams' themes, but create some really beautiful new ones.
My favorite Giacchino scores include Star Trek (2009), Lost, Cloverfield, Super 8, The Incredibles and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Tha man is a mastermind.
