MemberCompsognathusOct-23-2014 6:34 AMThis is something that has come acrross my mind lately that makes me somewhat sad. Think about all the dinosaurs that nature has created that we will never find. Think about it. Hundreds, if not thousands of animals from before our time that we will never know simply because none of their species was perserverd in the ground or turned itno a fossil fuel. With the T-Rex being able to crush bone and eat an entire animal, there are several dinosaurs from that time and place that we will never know of because they are all eaten before they can be perserved. Sorry if this has come out of nowhere but this is something I just wanted to share with you guys.
Also if anyone happens to know a time-traveller, send me a PM please. ;)

It stems from having never been able to see and touch these wonderful animals from our world's past. However, I've a bit of knowledge that might help to cheer you - and it's in direct response to your wondering if any of us know a time traveler.
The truth of the matter is that you and I - every living being upon this Earth - are each time travelers in our own right. Recent breakthroughs in quantum physicis have shown that you and I, and everything, are composed of atoms that were formed at the very moment of our universe's birth - forged in heat that was so intense, it makes the largest stars look like ice cubes! With that as the case, our universe wastes absolutely nothing, and the same can be said for our planet. Every atom in your body is billions upon billions of years old - and were not always yours. It's almost certain that thousands, if not millions, of your atoms were carried within the bodies of dinosaurs, some of which might never be discovered by science! You, and every human being, are much closer to the animals of prehistory than you might think! They are a permanent part of us, which is why they burn so fiercely in our imaginations and evoke such sadness when we ponder their fate and the knowledge that they're gone from this world. However, each of us carries these amazing animals with us as a fundamental part of our biochemistry! As such, they are not, and never will be, truly gone.
I certainly hope this helps to brighten you spirits! Regardless, always keep your chin up! :)

MemberCompsognathusOct-23-2014 1:07 PMIt is kind sad that there will be some dinosaurs that will never be found. It is also yet another reason why using fossil fuel should be stopped. But hey, be glad with what we have.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-23-2014 6:39 PMTrue, some dinosaurs never will be found. It's sad, but it's true. We have to accept that and move on.
Fossil fuels are actually not the bone, but anything that actually broke down. Skin, muscle, fat, flesh and so on have become fossil fuels. The bones themselves however, may be crushed or disintegrated or taken out by erosion. That breaks them down. That's nothing to do with fossil fuels causing us to not find these things. Besides, that Chinese medicine stuff where they grind up bones is more damaging to the fossil record then fossil fuels ever was.

MemberCompsognathusOct-23-2014 6:56 PMYeah, Traditional Chinese Medicine always makes me retty upset. Poachers slaughter thousands of Tigers, Rhinos, Seahorses, etc. And destroying fossilized bones only makes it worse. And all of that goes towards medicine that can kill you anyways! I could go on and on how I hate that stuff. But thats for another day.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-23-2014 7:00 PMIt's all just a belief. These herbs and powders and such are just a belief. Wether they work or not is up for debate, but the fact is, as long as they THINK it works, they'll do it. It's like hitting your head off a cement wall thinking it's gonna move. If you think it's moving, you're going to keep doing it.
