MemberCompsognathusOct-13-2014 4:38 PMi got this from rex fan!
ok, the coolest theropods ever! lets go.
10.microraptor.
This is a dromeosaurid this tiny flying beast is like a evil hawk mixed with a velocirator. it can fly! now not as good as some birds today but still fly(glide) nonetheless. he is about
9. allosaurus.
this is a standard sized theropods that dominated nearly the whole jurrassic period. it had the speeed and agility. it could run about 25 to 30 miles an hour which is pretty fast for a 3 ton, 30 foot, 14 foot tall animal. it had the bite. it would be like getting bitten by a freakin shark! he has powerful arms, his arms can do a heck of alot of damage. with 6 to 9 inch long claws on each of his fingers. this animal could rip you to pieces with one arm.
8.dilophosaurus.
He was a dilophosaurid this 20 foot,1 ton,6 foot tall animal with two really cool looking crests on his head. he was one of the first "big" theropods. he set the stage for what was to come later. not much else to say except for. this animal was the first truly bad*** of the theropod age.
7.quinzanosaurus.
or "pinochioo rex" to some people. this is a tyrranosaur (no suprise). he is about 30 feet long and 2 to 4 tons though i say about 3.5 tons. what sets these guys apart fromother tyrranosaurs is there elongated maxillma. it is unknown why ithey had this unique adaption but this truly seperates it from all other tyrranosaurids.
6.therizenosaurus.
He is a ornithamimid.this animal was 40 feet long 19 feet tall and 6 tons. he had a deadly but awesome set of four foot sowards on his hands. they werent just for pullin branches ya know. this could really mess up a body or face of a rivaling animal.
5.acrocanthosaurus.
this is the carcharadontosaurid of the allosaurid family. this animal has a 1 to 2 foot long sail running from th back of his head to the tip of his tail.. it is said that it had this adaption so it could add muscle to him. why would a 39 foot long 16 foot tall 6 ton hypercarnivore need a muscle boost? so it could bring down the giant animals he lived with such as sauroposiden. this animal was probably rippling with muscles all along his body. though other theropods had a lot of muscle mass too.
4. utahraptor.
this was a 23 to 30 foot long 1300 to 2000 pound, 6 to 9 foot tall beastwith 14 inch killing claws and 6 inch regular ones. what is cooler then that? not much of anything. it was the whole predator package, it is big, fast, agile, and strong. It is also the biggest dromeosaurid ever.
3.tyrannotitan.
thi is a carcharadontosaurid, just like acrocanthosaurus. are you suprised that there are so many allosaurids on this list? you shouoldnt be. thery are trully awesome animals. this was a 40 fot long 17 foot tall 6 to 7 ton beast. what made it different from others was that it had abnormaly short arms, though they were just as if not even more powerful. it had a stronger and more robust skull then other carcharadontosaurids. it was also considerbly more robust and bulkier then others to. a great animal indeed.
2.tyrranosaurus.
this was a bad*** it had tiny little arms that coukd rip you in half. it had jaws that felt like an elephant sittig on you. you got to love this thing, i know i do.
1.concaveator.
yet again, ann allosaurid. but this is fairly "small" at about 18 to 23 feet long and 1 to 2 tons. what seperated this animal from everything else was the fact that it had a weird ridge on his back near or over his pelvic region. it's function is unclear. what is even stanger and cooler was that it had feathers or quills on his body!! so this animal would truly have been a sight to see.
questions comments.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-14-2014 4:42 PMNice list, though I am surprised Spino didn't make it. Not complaining, just an observation that I could care less about, as this is your opinion.
