King Of The Monsters
MemberCompsognathusOct-09-2014 8:13 AMSo my first topic I talked about what dinosaurs you would like to see,but this one will talk about ones we will most likely see, I would also like to say sorry that I have no images as my computers broke and this topic is posted via phone. So lets start......
#1 Vastosaurus Rex
So all of you must have seen PJ King Kong fight scene with the three vastosaurus. I thought there design was great and thought the should act as the antagonist much like the game. Alas they got one very cool fight scene and a place in most merchandise.
#2 Sarcosuchus/Dinosuchus
How many of you watched Prehistoric park as a kid? Well the last episode was the best as that God Nigel Marvin took on a giant crocodile. If Skull island had a underwater scene much like the mososaur in kong. With a suspencefful trod through the waters.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-09-2014 8:33 AMBRONZEFANG - Most compelling! I feel that a creature like Sarcosuchus would be quite nice for Skull Island! That or the PIRANAHDON featured in Jackson's King Kong! Thank you very much for sharing this with us! :)

MemberCompsognathusOct-09-2014 10:52 AMi think we will see a t-rex, becaues in the 1933 king kong. I dont realy like peter jacksons king kong that much, its one of the better dinosaur films though.

MemberCompsognathusOct-09-2014 6:53 PMSkull island is going to be based on the novel, not on Peter jacksons or the 1933 film, so i dougth there will be any Vrex, and also maybe not even a Trex as i bealibve Kong whont be the main focus of Skull Island

MemberCompsognathusOct-10-2014 8:27 AM^there was a novel?

Carnosaur
MemberCompsognathusOct-10-2014 9:01 AM^ there was.
There's not going to be the animals as we know them in the movie, but evolved, larger and/or smaller versions of them. We saw this with "Vastatosaurus rex", which was just an overly evolved Tyrannosaurus. I think we'll see more of things like that, i for one am excited for this movie

MemberAllosaurusOct-11-2014 9:37 AMJRR- King Kong has always been based off the 1933 film, "King Kong" there was never a novel. There was one made after the film in the 80s, but King Kong originated from the 1933 film.
Good grief.

MemberCompsognathusOct-11-2014 1:20 PMI kind of don't wanna see Kong as the focus. I'm more interested in the dinosaurs and seeing them get there due credit(no scenes of Kong killing off 3 V-Rexes please. Seriously? How's that possible. Oh yeah, he's the main character).
