Hadrosaurus were one of the most adaptable family groups if any animals. Why?! Because these animals have been found literally everywhere in every continet, even antartica! we have many, many species of hadrosaurids. From the small telematasaurus to the giant huaxiasaurus. This is probably because of their tooth disign They had many rows of smallish but tough teeth meant for chewing and grinding up plant matter. Plants only they could get to. What this means is that no matter what the plant wether it be leaves, pine cones, twigs, flowers, fruit. these majestic creatures can eat it. They also have cheeks which enable them to eat the wide variety of food they are known to eat. hadrasaurids also travel in herds which n means there is a good level of protection.

MemberCompsognathusOct-10-2014 9:07 AMThe hadrosaurs are widly considered one of the most sucessful groups of dinosauria ever to walk our earth. They outnumber the allosaurs, the widely kept second sucessful family of dinosaurs, by a ratio of 3:1.
They reached gigantic sizes, the enormous Zhuchengosaurus/Huaxiaosaurus/Shantungosaurus reached an impressive 16 meters in length, and weighed just as much.
Their elaborate head crests, along with the sheer amount of specimens with have for Hadrosauridae, along with numerous skin impressions, have always been a rather studied topic.
Not only in paleontology are these"duck-bills" so widely known; they're ingrained in our culture. From land before time, to the Jurassic park novels and movies, everyone recognizes the "duck-bills". They might not be able to distinguish one species from another, but that's not their fault, for our culture has placed the label"Duck-bill" on these magnificient animals - much like Triceratops= three-horn.
In short, Hadrosaurs are one of the most sucessful, awe inspiring groups ofdinosauria ever to trod our planet, and definetly deserve more recognition
Nature doesn't deceive us; it is we who deceive ourselves.
