MemberCompsognathusOct-06-2014 8:12 PMYou gotta remember, that chriss's character studies raptors and also in real zoos, they muzzle animals for transportation and also for other reasons... think about it

MemberCompsognathusOct-06-2014 9:01 PMwell not exactly what i meant. i meant muzzling them and using them as tools. raptors are practically the main villains of the series. using them like that is a bit degrading in my opinion

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-07-2014 4:31 AMIt's still an interesting concept. Could really show the intelligence of Raptors. Just the same, they screw this up, and I'll be pissed.

MemberCompsognathusOct-07-2014 5:46 AMWell I did hear that the raptors will be used by the humans but towards the end of the movie (most likely when the rex escapes or the D-Rex dies(we know both will probably happen) the raptors are supposed to escape and cause some mayhem. :)

AdminTyrannosaurus RexOct-07-2014 3:23 PMI think the idea about controlling raptors is interesting because it falls right in line with the major themes in the Jurassic Park films.
From the very beginning of the franchise man is trying to manipulate and control nature, harnessing it right down to the DNA of the dinosaurus themselves. But "life found a way". Jurassic Park didn't work and it was abandoned. Bringing the dinosaurs off the island didn't work in the second film and the T-Rex on mainland proved that these characters can't maintain control over the animals long enough to even get them from point A to point B properly. Again... "Life found a way."
The idea that humans are trying to control and tame raptors is amusing becuase there's no way it's going to work. They're going to turn on them no matter what. It's just another chance for the main themes of Jurassic Park to take over and for life to find a way. It's actually brilliant as long as the raptors do indeed turn on the characters and cause mayhem.
