MemberAllosaurusOct-02-2014 4:27 PMNot sure if it's legit or not, but it's still coo. It looks likes it could be a D. Rex...

MemberCompsognathusOct-02-2014 4:39 PMLooks... Interesting. Lets Investigate!
JP Franchise has been known to do Photo Shoots with the Props, As for concept and marketing. They usually just do it in a studio, Or on a Soundstage.
The White backdrop behind the Foilage could lead to it being in a Studio. The head seems... Well, D-Rex enough. There truly isn't enough here to fully conclude it as anything really. I find something interesting though, Why is it's eyes Round... And not Slitted?
It's definitley got a Different Head build then the rex has. We also Already have the Rexes Head build, Thus, Crossing off this being a rex.
This could be D-rex... That guy has his head in it's jaws, So, It's not an Offical photo...
My conclusion, Is that the Picture is too Inconclusive to actually classify it as
D-rex
It might not even have anything to do with JW...
Who knows.

MemberCompsognathusOct-02-2014 4:40 PMI have serious doubt that this is going to be for JW.
But, like said before me, it's freakin' awesome!
Trevorrow probably tightened down on leakable info after we got a pretty decent idea of what the D-rex was, and the plot of the movie; both feature he wanted to keep quiet until closer to the release date.
I really dig that rex design though, maybe for the one in JW would resemble it..somewhat

MemberCompsognathusOct-02-2014 5:10 PMYeah, I seriously dought this is the D-rex/I-rex. I see a rex like this in every issue of Prehistoric Times.

MemberCompsognathusOct-02-2014 5:15 PMnever read prehistoric times so i dont really know how to compare them
Spinosaurus Rex
MemberCompsognathusOct-02-2014 5:52 PMEhhh... ive stated this before, i hate the idea of feathers... ANY feathers. But, on the side of the coloration, i think its got a pretty neat distribution of colors.

MemberCompsognathusOct-02-2014 5:56 PMI highly dougth it will be in the film it seems more like a maquete, but still preety cool, but scince it has feathers and JW is suposed not to have feathered dinos i have dougths

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-02-2014 6:34 PMDINOBOY22 - How very neat! I'm as of yet uncertain if that image is a legitimate representation of D-Rex - but I certainly hope it is! That animal is both stunning and quite savage in aspect! Thank you so very much for sharing this with us! :)
