MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-01-2014 3:17 PMTYRANT KING - Oh, how fun! I remember an absolutely bloody terrible theory that suggested Tyranosaurus Rex circulatory system was so weak that it would have to stop moving every 20 minutes or so just to catch its breath and recover its strength! Not a very intimidating tyrant, don't you think? Thank you so very much for sharing this with us! :)

MemberCompsognathusOct-01-2014 3:21 PMI never heard that one. It's so freakin stupid.
t.rex was a scavenger cause it weighed over six tons, yet a even larger spinosaurus was a macro predator according to jack Horner.

MemberCompsognathusOct-01-2014 3:25 PMDon't forget the "Tyrannosaurus was a scavenger" hypothesis..
Carcharodontosaurids not being able to ram because their skulls may shatter is based on the fact that the Premaxilae and Maxila bones are relatively thin.. say, compared to that of Tyrannosaurus. This however, doesn't mean they couldn't ram...in fact Planet Dinosaur actually showed two male Carcharodontosaurus individuals engaging in a "head butting" behavior that could be plausible

feel free to add other theories.

MemberCompsognathusOct-01-2014 3:32 PMLiopleurodon(not a dinosaur but still) was upwards of 125 feet long and weighed just as much
Sauropods were brainless, walking walls of meat
Stegosaurs had a 'second brain' near their hips

MemberCompsognathusOct-01-2014 4:37 PMid say the thoery of Trex having week cardiovascular System is quite posible given that it woould need many leeters of blood per second to achive high speeds, but this could be negated due to posibly Trex beeing like A cheatah, fast for short distance speed but needing to rest if the hunt got to prolongated
while the worst theory is the one of Dinos beeing crushed by there weigth

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-01-2014 5:11 PMJRR, just saying, but by that logic, pretty much any large carnivore has a weak cardiovascular system.

MemberCompsognathusOct-03-2014 7:08 AMThe theory that the Pachycephalasuarus could headbutt others of its species. To be fair, it was very likely at the time but now with x-rays we can see that the dome was hollow, any impact with another pcahy would most likelywould have killed it.
