Height: 35 feet at the horns
Weight: 4-6 tons
The most primitive of all dragons, this can be described as a wyvern. These creatures spit flame from their mouth and fly by using hydrogen gas formed in their gut. This means their flight and fire can both be depleted by overuse of one. Their scales are thick, made for dog fights with the claws and teeth of other dragons as well as running brawls. Their neck is relatively unarmored though and their wings are weak points
T-Rex
Height: 15-20 feet
Weight: 5-7 tons
The ruler of Cretaceous era North America, T-Rex's reputation was well deserved, with a massive bite. However, their stubby arms aren't worth much in a brawl and while their legs are powerful, a kick is out of the question due to weight issues. T-Rex was fairly fast, though not a speed demon. Their agility was truly atrocious however.
Fight!
A male prehistoric dragon lets out happy warbles as he chews on a cliff wall, eating the platinum necessary for fire breathing. It also marked out this territory as his to other dragons. A roar interrupted his refueling and the lone male turned around. A large beast stood on the edge of his territory, slobbering. Obviously, she wanted to die.
The T-Rex was furious! This winged creature dared invade her territory?! She let out a challenging bellow, trying to scare off the creature. The dragon responded by letting out an ear piercing shriek and flapping its wings. It was intimidating and would have made many dinosaurs run. But this female wasn't many dinosaurs. She responded by charging in, head down, ready to pummel the beast. Then, there was nothing there. She stumbled, just barely avoiding falling on her face.
The dragon snarled as he took to the sky, dodging the charge. Swooping in, his claws slashed at the dinosaur's back, leaving deep gouges and causing her to cry out in pain. She was faster than he thought though and turned around, smacking his legs with her tail. The unbalanced dragon staggered in the air and was forced to land. While in the awkward position, the dinosaur charged him from behind, biting his flank. His thick scales saved him from death, but the sudden jerk of her head assured that as she slid back, she caught part of his tail. The dragon turned around, spittle flying from his mouth in anger.
The T-Rex let out a rumble, gulping the tail fragment down easily. She almost looked to be smiling, having forced the dragon against the cliff, negating his flight. Nowhere to run. Letting out an angry bellow, she rushed him again.
The dragon was desperate and knew he had to bring all his resources to the fight. He used up some precious hydrogen to use the dragons' most deadly weapon. Fire.
The T-Rex let out a scream of sheer and utter distress as hellfire licked at her back and head, making one of her eyes explode as it boiled and turning her upper body black from the powerful strike. She could do little more than wail as the dragon squawked victoriously, leaping forward and beginning to savage her already wounded back with his teeth and claws. But she wasn't about to give up yet.
The dragon tried to step back as he saw her winding up, but it was too late. That powerful head slammed into his wing joint, dislocating the delicate appendage. The dragon squealed out, stepping back and looking at his wing. He had to win this fight now, retreat wasn't an option. The Rex ran at him, faster than she looked. Her teeth clenched his throat and began to squeeze. He was too tough to simply crush, but in a matter of seconds, he'd choke. The dragon let out a strangled wheeze as breathing became harder.
He couldn't breathe fire, not with his throat so cramped. An instant to fly away took over, despite his damaged wing. Using all of his hydrogen and flapping his remanining wing, amazingly, he managed to rise a few feet, lifting the dinosaur as well. The dinosaur was disoriented and let go at the feeling of losing her footing. A fatal mistake. She fell with a crash, toes snapping as she hit the ground. She couldn't get up now. She looked at her adversary, panting hard.
The dragon let out a cry which was heard for miles. A cry of victory. And to the victor go the spoils. A new territory...and plenty of fresh meat. He ended her suffering with a brutal efficiency, tearing her gut open and beginning to feast.
Winner: Prehistoric Dragon

MemberTyrannosaurus RexSep-10-2014 6:08 PMNice job, but I was rooting for T-Rex. Oh well, good job still, looking forward to the next fight.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusSep-11-2014 12:39 PMThe dragon is going to die soon, with a bad wing, he can't hunt. So it's a bit of a tie
