MemberCompsognathusAug-28-2014 3:21 PMsorrry guys about the multible thread...
ok. so torvosaurs were quite bulky theropods. so im sure ther arms would be very thick and muscular, right. but my true question is.....how strong would a swipe from a torvosaur hand be? like would it be enough to kill a human.
2. could it inflict wounds on other animals?
3. could it be used in combat?
4.could it grip onto animals and hang on.
5.could it hold onto flesh? if so,how much.
sorry for all the questions.

MemberCompsognathusAug-28-2014 5:11 PMCould it kill a human? Yes. And just like the diplodocus, you can forget the body bag.
2. Nah...(/sarcasm)
3. Nah...(/sarcasm)
4. Possibly.
5. Probably not.

MemberTriceratopsAug-28-2014 9:20 PMI say ABSOLUTELY YES to ALL your questions. Remember, this is a huge creature that lived in a time of giants, its arms would have been used any way it could to help it survive and thrive.
I'd imagine that a Torvosaurus would hang on to prey like Acro was portrayed in Monsters Resurrected. It got that part right about it's featured animals, even if it came across as making Spino and Acro into invincible monsters when they didn't deserve to be.
