Demon the Carnotaurus Chapter 8

     The cave was damp and long. Demon followed the cave down until the lights from the helicopter faded. Due to his perfect eyesight Demon could see all the way down the cave. He made his way through slowly until he heard a grown. He stepped on something's foot. He saw a large carnivore rise, and it looked pissed. It was an adult Majungasaurus. Both Dinosaurs where about the same size Majungasaurus being about 12 feet tall and about 30 feet long. Demon noticed the distinct horn at the top of its head above the eyes. This would be one hell of a fight.

     The Majungasaurus attacked first and head butted Demon into the cave wall. The horn on its head made a small incision on Demons skull. Demon stuck back with his spiked tail and slashed at the Majungasaurus. Both backed up and flashed their teeth. Again the Majungasaurus charged. It knocked the wind out of demon. Demon fell to the earth. The Majungasaurus bent down about to bite Demon, when he kicked the Majungasaurus in the face. Demons claws on his feet gave the Majungasaurus a giant scar on its face.

    Demon got back on his feet while the Majungasaurus recovered from the last attack. It was moaning and shaking its head to relieve itself from the pain. Demon snorted and ran towards the Majungasaurus. He tried to bit it but failed. The Majungasaurus bit into Demons back, ripping a piece of flesh big enough to reveal a piece of his vertebrae. Demon winced in agony. He recovered from the attack and camouflaged.

     The Majungasaurus looked around the cave flashing its teeth. It swung it's head around looking and waiting. A few minutes went by. Nothing. It was as if nothing happened. The Majungasaurus could still sense danger, however it started walking away. The Majungasaurus walked a few feet until a heavy force slammed him into the wall. It hit so hard that it broke it's left leg. The Majungasaurus' roar was heard throughout the island. Even construction workers looked up wondering what that was. Demon slammed into the Majungasaurus again. Nearly dead the Majungasaurus made a final attempt to get up and Demon reappeared and bit it's neck hard and twisted it sideways. The Majungasaurus eyes rolled up into its head.

     Victory was Demons. It was nearly morning. Demon decided to rip into the corpse and ate it a bit. Demon yawned and crouched down. He was tired after his long fight. His back was throbbing, but it wasn't fatal. After 10 minutes Demon was fast asleep. He needed to rest up for tomorrow. You never know what to expect.
