How'd You Get Here And Why Did You Stay

I saw this forum about a month before I joined and u read a fights posted by people like deltadromes, UCMP and I got to see one fight from the great Dinofights. I was to nervous to join and didn't no how but I swore I would join before jurrassic world comes out. Next weeks I joined.

I joined the godzilla forums in 2012 i heard back in 2008 a godzilla movie whas coming in 2009 but then it got daealided to 2012 when i googled for news if it whas still beeing made i stumbled oupon scified, i started beeing here in the JW forums after the godzilla movie came out and the forum started to become less active

I was bored one day and I was searching up things about dinosaurs. Pretty soon, a DinoFight fight showed up. I read a few, and I was hooked. The next day I found the site and I looked at the posts. It was interesting, but when I left the computer I forgot what site it was on. Later I found the site again, and joined up. That was April 15, 2014, now I'm a regular. And I'm making my own fight series

I miss dealtadromeus and ucmp and all those guys:(

Very nice Allotitan. I think this post will be a great way for people to get backstory's on other members and such. Should it be stickied? I'll do it if you guys want. If you don't think it's a big deal, I'll let it alone.

I was on Wikipedit on the page that featured all the news Jurassic Park 4, before Jurassic World. At the bottom of the page was a website that was supposedly creat by the director. I clicked on it and it took me here. I watched it for a long time. A while after I found the Godzilla 2014 site. Then November of last year I finally joined. And I stayed here because I really love this site and wish to become a mod one day, hopefully soon.

My story is kinda of a mix between Allotitans and TK story. So about 2-2.5 mounths before I joined this forum I was searching for Giganotosaurus vs Tyrannosaurus fights and I found the story called the a Tyrants roar. I was completly hooked but, I wasn't sure if people here were "nice" so I didn't join. About a mounth later I started reading some of the various fights on the fourms. And I thought "hmmm thta looks like fun". Then about another mounth after that I joined.

For me the funny thing was i was waiting for the movie to start on jurassic park 3D then i looked on the internet and saw the jurassic park 4 site taped on it created a accont and forgot about found the site agian tryed to create another accont but found out i already had one so i just keep on this form since that day

I was actually looking at different Rex vs Spino debates. You know, the kind where you can post anonymously that make JWW1-3 look like a friendly tea party or something else not violent. Ended up finding this and next to no one was a total asshole. Guys like Paden and Dinosaur.Fanatic were new at that point, and I ended up signing up without giving it a second thought. Perhaps the most memorable thing I've said on these forums was at the end of my very first post.

It was somewhere in the middle of 2013. I was just on the internet, looking for Jurassic Park 4 news. Then, I found this site. I continued to read JP4 news. Soon, on Friday, November 29, 2013, I registered an account on this site.

Now I'm a regular with over 1,000 posts and soon to be active for 1 year!

Known about this forum for a long time due to my association on the Jurassic Park Legacy forums. Didn't join for a long time, until I thought it was finally time to create my own scified site (my james bond site). Then I thought I'd pop on the JP forums here to see what sort of insights they have as well.

Just read both Jurassic Park Books, and I wanted a place where I could show my love for Jurassic Park. COuldn't find a place. Then I Googled Jurassic Park 4, and found this site!! Took me a month to understand it, then after that created an account, left the site periodically, but ever since Mid-January I have been an official regular here!

Looking for dinosaur fights, found one on this site (written by carnosaur). Lurked for a while. Eventually I got an account and here I am today.

I been following the Godzilla forums since it was created but I didn't want to join, I joined 30 May 2014. Anyway I accidently went to SciFieds home page, and at the top I saw Jurassic World :)

I discovered this last summer, when I was looking for updates on Jurassic World.  I read of the few dino fights and I thought they were very good.

But I didn't join b/c I had a lot of school work to do, and I was content to just read the new threads.

Then around late October I was inspired to write my own story, like others here have done.  But I needed to develop it, because I wanted it to be extremely powerful and have a few unique points in it.  I wanted readers to be able the sheer force of the emotions of the story, such as the pride, love, fear, and unbridled rage.  And I wanted it to be a conflict between two of the mightiest carnivores the Mesozoic Era featured.

Thus, The Tyrant's Roar was born.

i read a book about carcharodontosaurus and it said it competed with predators like ekrixinatosaurus and sppinosaurus. I didn't know what ekrix was so i searched it up. Then i saw some fights here and read some. I saw rexfan's anky vs rex which go me thinking about making my own account. I also saw something about tarbosaurus and perhaps ekrixinbatosaurus. It ended in 'with a swift downward stroke and tore out the ___'s throat." I liked it and came back to the site after lots of seacrhing. I made an account and after confirming there was no pesonal info needed, i started posting and stuff. 

I joined when I Google Jurassic park 4. This website came up, an I saw Rex Fans discussion on the top ten most ferocious dinosaurs. I signed up so I could talk dinosaurs with other people and I've stayed on since. Also became a pretty good friend with rex fan

Well I just joined today and I think I will be staying.

About a week ago my brother joined a car website similar to this and I wanted to find one about dinosaurs because I love them. I searched in google "Dinosaur forum". A few things popped up and by the look of the url it was a news story or something other than what I was looking for. I saw this site and thought it was for what people thought of the movie so I didn't click it. After not finding anything I gave up.

Today I still wanted to find it so I tried the same thing and a different one, which was "Dinosaur Blog". Nothing about dinosaurs popped up, just stuff with dinosaur in the name. I went back to "Dinosaur forum" and finally decided to click this. Low and behold it was what I was looking for :D.

Haha, I remember this topic. I joined pretty much exclusively to be a dick because I honestly didn't have the guts to in real life. How things change when you find people who accept you for the train wreck you are. I never talked, I never got invited to go anywhere with anyone, I avoided any and all human contact. Now is a different story. I found two friends who love me for who I am (they must, they hug me and give me food) and now I don't really give a shit what people think. I've gotten nicer online, and meaner IRL, figure that one out. That's the short, dumbed down version of my story. The detailed version is much longer and I strongly dislike talking about feelings with anyone other than the two mentioned previously.

Well, I dislike talking about feelings with people I don't trust 100%, and I don't want my story getting turned into a shitty prequel series again.
