Hey guys, this is my first random fight for SF, but it wont be my last. Anyway lets get this fight going!
Indosuchus vs. Monolophosaurus
Indosuchus
Height: 10 ft tall
Length: 20 ft long
Weight: 1 ton
Monolophosaurus
Height: 8.5 ft tall
Length: 17 ft long
Weight: 1,750 pounds
The male Monolophosaurus is looking for a mate. He is ready to find one, but doesn’t know how to impress a female. He spies a very pretty female nearby and does a dance to impress her, but she shrugs him off and goes to a bigger, stronger male. He wanders around, calling for females and following a female’s scent trails. Dinosaurs are somewhat like big cats. When a female is in the “mood”, she will leave a scent letting the males know. The Monolophosaurus has walked a long way trying to find this female. He is tired and hungry. The male Monolophosaurus starts to hunt, and he spots a lone large Dryosaurus. He slowly reduces the space between him and his speedy prey item. He gets ready to pounce…
The Indosuchus is a powerful predator. He is one of the finest specimens of his species. Strong, muscular, brave, it’s no wonder most females of his species choose him as a mate. He also has some of the finest hunting grounds on the island. He is a champ, and patrols his territory like a tyrannosaur, constantly looking for threats. He hasn’t eaten in a couple of days and gets ready to hunt. He spots a lone dryosaur, and gets ready to pounce…
The Monolophosaurus jumps out at the same time as the Indosuchus jumps out. They collide as the dryosaur runs away. The Monolophosaurus roars at the Indosuchus, blaming him for the loss of a meal. The Indosuchus roars right back at him, and flashes his teeth in an aggressive way. The Monolophosaurus shakes his head and turns around to walk away. As he turns around, the Indosuchus head butts him away, roaring. The Monolophosaurus turns around quickly to face the Indosuchus. The Monolophosaurus roars angrily at the Indosuchus. He charges forward to attack.
Just as he reaches the Indosuchus, he stops. The Indosuchus falls for the mock charge and lunges to the side. The Monolophosaurus whips his head at the abelisaur’s vestigial arms. In one swift motion, the Monolophosaurus rips off his arm and swallows it. The Indosuchus roars in pain, and charges. He head butts the Monolophosaurus, and as the single crested lizard staggers back, the Indian crocodile charges and grabs on to the Monolophosaurus’ back with his jaws. The Monolophosaurus tries to struggle free, but the Indosuchus tightens his grip. Finally, in an attempt to escape, the Monolophosaurus rakes his claws on the Indosuchus’ body.
The Indosuchus roars in pain as he lets go of the Monolophosaurus. The Monolophosaurus steps back and charges forward with the Indosuchus ready to counterattack. The Monolophosaurus bites down on the Indosuchus’ side, while the Indosuchus bites down on the Monolophosaurus’ legs. The fighters are bleeding heavily and are tired, but they keep going. The Indosuchus wriggles away from the Monolophosaurus and steps back. He charges forward and tries to latch his jaws onto the Monolophosaurus, but gets knocked away when the Monolophosaurus swings his arms and hits his head. The Indian crocodile staggers back, but comes forward and pushes against the Monolophosaurus. They pursue in a shoving match. It seems pretty even, and no one is winning. They are getting nowhere, until the Monolophosaurus rakes his claws down the Indosuchus’ neck, missing the throat by just a few inches.
The Indosuchus steps back and roars a blood-curdling scream. He watches the Monolophosaurus charge, he sidesteps and he lunges at the Monolophosaurus. He grabs the base of the Monolophosaurus tail, and holds on like a bulldog. The Monolophosaurus tries to wriggle free, but he’s stuck like a fly in flypaper. The Indosuchus bites down hard, and manages to fracture bone.
The Monolophosaurus howls in pain, and manages to get out of the Indosuchus’ vice-like grip. He charges at the Indosuchus, and jumps on to his back. He hacks away with his claws as the Indosuchus roars, and throws him off. The Indosuchus looks at the Monolophosaurus and stares. He looks up, and runs away. The Monolophosaurus looks behind him, and sees a Male Tyrannosaurus. The Tyrannosaur roars at the two, smaller dinosaurs. He roars and walks by, for he was only passing through. The Monolophosaurus didn’t know that and ran in the direction of the Indosuchus. When he arrived, the Indosuchus was on the ground. Apparently in the sprint, he tripped over a stray tree rot and broke his leg. The Monolophosaurus looked down at his helpless opponent and grabbed his neck. With a quick snap, he put the Indosuchus out of its misery.
The Monolophosaurus steps back and drops the dead Indosuchus. He roars and claims the territory as his own. He looks around and notices a female Monolophosaurus. He realized that she must have watched the whole fight. The Monolophosaurus grabs hold of the dead Indosuchus body, and drags it toward the female. She sniffs the carcass and accepts the gift. The new mates snuggle together while feasting on the meal.
A few months passed since that fight. It’s now summer and the sun is shining. The world is alive, and life seems to be at its greatest. In a nest, not too far from the battlefield, a small egg is making its way into the world. After a long struggle, a small crested head pops out. It squeaks for its mother, only his mother doesn’t arrive. Another animal has heard the noise and arrives. The baby squeaks and looks up at this other animal.
It’s his father, the male Monolophosaurus
Agility, more weapons, and a little bit of luck helped Monolophosaurus win this battle.
