The Prehistoric Americas episode 1: Dawn of the dinosaurs

Before we start this series I want to give RexFan684 some credit, I've taken some inspiration from his series mezizoic marvels. And don't worry I've cleared this with him and, he is fine with me doing this series. Now, let's get this started!

230 million years ago, it seemed as if reptiles were invincible. Then a new species came on the scene, the dinosaurs. They ruled the world for 160 million years, they ranged in all shapes in sizes from the tiny Compsognathus to the massive Aregntinosaurus. In this series we will be exploring the prehistoric Americas.

There is a new species on the block there has never been anything like them before or after, the dinosaurs. One of the earliest dinosaurs, Eoraptor is exploring. At only 3 feet long Eoraptor is tiny. While not the largest predator out there, Eoraptor has trick up its sleeve. It's stance, it's legs are bellow its hips.

This may not seem like much but, it's revolutionary. It's makes Eoraptor able to run at high speeds, and it also gives two main weapons, it's jaws and arms. The Eoraptor is hungry, it's looks around the vast desert and sees, a Kannemeyeria. It is one of the largest herbivores of the area, at 10 feet long and 500 pounds it's to big for Eoraptor. But, Eoraptor isn't the only killer on the block there's also Herrasaurus. Herrasaurus are the biggest carnivorus dinosaur in the area. They are 15 feet long and 1000 pounds. The Herrasaurus is hungry as well but, unlike the Eoraptor it can hunt anything in the area. The Herrasaurus takes cover in some plants and waits. Eventually a Kannemeyeria comes too close to the Herrasaurus. The Herrasaurus leaps out of the vegitation onto the Kannemeyeria's back. Herrasaurus slashed, bit and kicked. The Kannemeyeria bucked but, the Herrasaurus held tight.

Eventually the Herrasaurus let go. The Kannemeyeria bellowed at the dinosaur. The Herrasaurus roared back. The Herrasuaurs backs off, the dinosaurs don't rule yet. A couple miles away another predator roaming this barren waste land, Saurosuchus. Saurosuchus is the largest of its kind it weighs 1200 pounds and is 22 feet long. It's the mating season for Saurosuchus, this male has been tracking a female for days. He has finaly found her. The Saurosuchus bellows at the female to let her know his intentions. The female won't be interested until the male has shown his strength. The males head changed from dark green to bright red, then he started doing a form of push ups.

The female was impressed, then another Saurosuchus roared. The new Saurosuchus was bigger then the original male. The original Saurosuchus stoped doing his push ups and got ready for a fight. Both Sauroschus pushed their heads against each other. The new Saurosuchus was wining but, the original male wasn't going to lose this female without a fight. The original male stepped back and made it seem like he, gave up. The new male started doing push ups. The original male snaped his jaws shut on the new males skull. The new male roared, in pain. The new male, muscled his way out, then retreated.

Soon, these creatures will die out but, the dinosaurs like Herrasaurus and Eoraptor will evolve into super predators like Tyrannosaurus Rex.
