MemberAllosaurusAug-19-2014 5:00 PMYeah, seriously, bite force or not why in the hell would you bite someone in a fight? Maybe if that was the only thing you could do to defend yourself but...

Spinosaurus Rex
MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:03 PMThat doesnt even make any sense PX, and i would rather die than have bite force to be my only advantage, i tend to use my fists in a fight...

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:06 PMNo prob Raptor, he definatley played a role in my childhood, Mrs. Doubtfire was probably my favorite.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:11 PMWell it doesnt really seem like we CAN get back on topic without somebody getting angry.
Raptor-401
MemberAllosaurusAug-19-2014 5:12 PMI am pretty sure we can S-Rex, no one else can get angry. As a matter of fact, no one got angry.
And P-X, in this forum things go off topic ALL the time. Quite fun, really.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:21 PMIntersting points, but I think the rex could manover his body and neck fairly well to counter the utah. I dont think it could easily destroy the rex as you make it sound like :3 Im with PX.
Spinosaurus Rex
MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:25 PMxplictz, i dont think anything with as much muscle on its neck as you and others claim can move its neck very much at all.
Spinosaurus Rex
MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:27 PMGranted, of course it can move it a decent amount, but definately not at a 90 degree angle to flank an attack from the side.
FACT DUDE
MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:29 PMAnd its neck wasnt even very long at that, so its basically like a fat guy trying to look at what is perfectly to the side of him without completely changing the direction his body is facing.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:30 PMOne Utahraptor vs One rex?
That's a mismatch in favor of the rex, allow me to elaborate.
On average, a tyrannosaurus rex would weigh in the ballpark of 7 tons, stand twelve feet tall, and measure 11.5 meters.
Utahraptor( not really enough individuals to get an average out of, but..) would be approxmately 6.5 meters long, weigh half a ton and stand 6 feet tall.
As we can see, Rex has the advantage in the weight, height, and length(which doesn't play really any factor at all). It can also exert 6 tons of force in its bite, making it so when/if it gets its jaws around the Utahraptor, we have one dead dromaeosaur on our hands.
Sure, it's lighter therefore making it more agile, and i'm not discounting the giant six inch claw on its foot, but it would need to get past the jaws of a Tyrannosaurus to even make an attempt at an attack.
6? no question they stand a better chance at killing a rex. 3-4 might even.
1.5 tons for utahraptor, where did ya get that number?

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:32 PMThanks!!!!! Carnosaur you understand where I'm coming fom
Hiphopananomus
MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:34 PMYeah... 1 on 1... Utharaptor would have almost no chance of wining. But, six on one. the utahs would IMO win 85% of the time.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:34 PMI dont really think there is much of a "we" in the way you put it Carno, because there are obviously two parties in this discussion ;)

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:36 PMI've have a question for all of the people who say Utah had a good chance of wining in a one on one. Do you think Utha could beat a spinosaurus in a one on one battle?

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:37 PMNope it can't beat rex or any of the big four one on one
Carnosaur
MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 5:37 PMS-rex, i don't quite get what you meant by that, haha but please, elaborate
Anyway, at parity, a 6 meter utahraptor would probably kill a six meter rex. That's the only one v one i see utahraptor even standing a chance in
