MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 11:35 AMWell, there's this picture:
Which as you can see in the top left hand corner, is the JP 3 Pteranodons. So my best guess is the JP 3 Pteros.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 11:39 AMI'm gonna gowith the JP3 models so far because they were the ones with the longest screentime. But, this also displays the JP3 raptors and, we know those won't be in the movie. So, maybye this isn't an indicator.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 11:40 AMToo be honest I'm kinda of hoping for a Quetzalcoatlus. I mean come on its a pteranodon as tall as a giraffe!

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 11:46 AMYeah, but it also displays the Nublar raptors, and Raptors probably aren't even available for guests' to see. So, I don't think it matters on the board what raptors they use, but when they are selling merchandise for an animal availabe for viewing, odds are that they will use legitimate photos. Plus, its on there twice.

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 12:55 PMWell, we could be looking at the JP3 type or maybe another heavily genetically altered species. Also, remember that rumour about pterosaur riders, theres also that to consider although I doubt it's true but you never know, there seem to be som strange new additions this time round. My hope is that we are shown a Hatzegopteryx!

MemberCompsognathusAug-19-2014 1:23 PMActually TLW Pteranodon wasn't quite a Pteranodon.
It looked a lot like Geosternbergia. Just letting you know :)

MemberAllosaurusAug-19-2014 2:36 PMWell, the TLW versions are safer for visitors.
(@DinoSteve93, The TLW Pteranodons were originally going to be Geosternbergia, but it was changed.)

AdminTyrannosaurus RexAug-21-2014 10:27 PMI wish they'd use a design similar to The Lost World CG model. There was something more elegant and beautiful about that design. Although I guess that wouldn't have quite worked for the Pteranodons they were going for in JP3...

MemberTriceratopsAug-28-2014 3:57 PMWell, the leaked pictures from the licensing expo would seem to point to using the JP3 pteranodons as a model. I know that it is only merchandising and may be different...but it is still something. Also the leaked map showed a form that resembled JP3 pteranodon but was still pretty vague to me.
