DDD Fight 2- Sinraptor vs. Megaraptor

Let's meet our contestants:

Sinraptor

Sinraptor was a large carnivore that lived in Northwestern China during the Late Jurassic. This individual is 9 feet tall, 23 feet long, and 1.2 tons.

Megaraptor

Megaraptor was a large carnivore that lived in Argentina during the Late Cretaceous. This individual is 10 feet tall, 26 feet long, and 1.3 tons.

BEGIN!

     A Sinraptor is walking through a redwood forest. He just ate, and he is returning to his territory. As he walks, he picks up a scent. He thinks he’s entering another carnivore’s territory, and he becomes wary. He paces through the area, trying to get out as soon as possible. Soon, he enters a small clearing, but he trips on something. He roars as he hits the ground, and then lightly growls in frustration. He looks at what he tripped on, and he sees a pair of eyes glaring at him. The other creature roars, and the Sinraptor backs away. Agitated, the other carnivore follows him. Soon, it lunges and tackles the Sinraptor.

     The other predator is a Megaraptor. It snarls, and slashes the Sinraptor’s snout. The Sinraptor roars in pain, and attempts to bite the Megaraptor. The Megaraptor is about to slash again, but the Sinraptor catches his hand in his jaws. The Megaraptor roars in pain and surprise, and slashes the Sinraptor in the neck with his other arm. The Sinraptor lets go, and both carnivores get up. They stare at each other, and growl. Then, they both charge.

     The two carnivores headbutt each other, causing both carnivore to get disoriented for a bit. When they recover, they ram into each other, both biting and slashing at the opposing carnivore. Soon, the Megaraptor slashes the Sinraptor’s neck, and it roars in pain. The Sinraptor attempts to run off, but the Megaraptor bites onto his tail. Both carnivores pull in opposite direction, and soon one fourth of the Sinraptor’s tail is bitten off. The Megaraptor quickly swallows it, and continues to chase the Sinraptor.

     Soon, they reach a bundle of thick foliage, near the edge of the Megaraptor’s territory. The Sinraptor desperately tries to find a way out, but he can’t. Soon, the Megaraptor reaches him, and it lunges. The Sinraptor runs out of the way, and the Megaraptor crashes into the foliage. He gets up and roars at the escaping Sinraptor. He roars again, and the Sinraptor runs faster. The Megaraptor only has an injured hand, a few slashes on his chest, and a couple light scrapes and bruises on his back. He watches as the Sinraptor runs out of his territory, and then he goes back to sleep.

Winner: Megaraptor

Megaraptor spared the Sinraptor, but it still won. It could've killed the Sinraptor if it wanted to.
