ps. Next part is 2 days away :)
This story has been 37 years in the making and chronicles the life and death of o the Top predator on the island of Isla Sorna, and begins a full 8 months after the Jurassic world incident in 2015. It was fully developed by National Geographic for their Dinosaurian Behavioral exploration Program (D.B.E.P) for short. There were no animals harmed in the making of this program. 2 crewmembers were however slightly injured but are now fine and safe. Viewer Discretion is advised.
It is midnight when a small egg in the midst of 12 others starts to vibrate and shiver, a sure sign that it’s soon to hatch. The next morning however things take a turn to the worse, a giant Quetzalcoatlas can be seen hovering towards the nest, however in order to reach it he has to walk for at least 40 feet through the thick foliage. 2 minutes later and he successfully reached the protected nest, he picks off at least half a dozen eggs and is clearly going for our egg….just before he can eat it the ground starts shaking and a low growl can be heard coming from the trees. The Quetzalcoatlas quickly turns and runs as fast as it can, even though it stands an impressive 23 feet off the ground there are far more intimidating things in this forest. He almost makes it to the small clearing in which he landed, but he is unceremoniously killed by a large predator which quickly disappears into the forest as quickly as he appeared.
The next day however it’s arrival day, our egg is will finally reveal its small occupant that will hopefully be completely ready to trek the hazardous world it just opened its eyes in. it is 3 o’clock now and the eggs are starting to crack as the small animals start to crawl out into the bright sunlight. Our egg has finally hatched to reveal a small Tyrannosaurus chick….but there’s something odd about this particular male, his eyes have different coloration one is black while the other is blue, that’s why will name him black eyes, but that doesn’t change the fact that a Tyrannosaurus chick is absolutely adorable compared to its parents. Measuring about 4 feet long and weighing a mere 30 pounds he is almost half the size of his physically superior yet caring older sister, white beauty named for his mostly white coat of feathers. 4 hours later and Black eyes has just learned how to walk with help from White Beauty, but suddenly the ground starts shaking again, most of the newborn chicks run and hide in fear except for Black eyes how stays with his sister who strangely looks like she’s glad to feel the earth shaking. The shaking becomes so strong that Black eyes falls to the ground and hides underneath his older sister. Then the shaking stops just as the sun becomes visibly dimmer, he looks up and sees a giant 45 foot long Tyrannosaurus standing above him, his instincts tell him immediately that it’s his mother: Sue, she has come here with food. She then drops a small Ornithomimus from her mouth to the ground, most chicks have no idea how to react, but Black eyes’ sister however gently nudges him, takes a bite out of the food and nudges him again. Black eyes who is now eating sees that his mother is gathering the chicks in her mouth and leaving with white beauty, he quickly follows and goes into her mouth as she walks away from the only place they know even exists.
The next day their mother is finally dropping them off in a large clearing in the forest filled with other Tyrannosaurs that leads into plain full of prey and even a large watering hole. As the chicks arrive older juveniles start bullying them. White beauty however takes care of him and fights off other larger juveniles. 3 months later and Black eyes is allowed to wander away from his nest, one day he’s playing with White beauty on the plain up ahead. While he plays in the long grass he sees something moving in the grass, terrified he starts running towards the clearing, but suddenly a large 23 foot long predator leaped onto him and stepped on his neck, Black eyes tried to cry out but couldn’t. The predator, an Utahraptor roars in victory and slashes his face rendering him unconscious.
