Story of a Superpredator: Chapter 9- The Next Generation

     TTTAAP-1 (Codename: Night) sat in his trench home with his mate, Blaze, and their new offspring. The hatchlings don't have names, but their parents know which is which. Each chick inherieted some of the spliced DNA of their parents. Night was finally about to get some sleep, as him and his mate slept in shifts, one sleeping while the other watched the chicks. However, he was awoken by a high pitched screech coming from a cave away from his territory. Night thought about what it could be, but he was too tire to think for long before he fell asleep.

     The screech was heard again. Suddenly, Night's territory was filled with mist. He saw a glowing pair of red eyes, and then he was lifted off the ground by the Megarex, another mutant. He heard his neck start to crack, and then it was hard to see. Then, he heard one more sickening crack.

     Night awoke with a quiet roar. He looked around him, and saw Blaze and the hatchlings. He realized that he was dreaming, and then went back to sleep.

     In the cave producing the screeching, there was nothing. Just darkness. Nothing was inside, exept for a small drop. Suddenly, a pair of glowing red eyes arose from the ground, and the mysterious creature snarled.
