MemberCompsognathusAug-01-2014 3:50 PMHey,so I got this idea while I was rewatching the documentary Jurassic Fight Club. The idea behind this topic is you say what you would have done with JFC if there was a season 2. The only rules are the animals have to live with each other, and you must say what the winner would have been in your JFC.
Here's my perfect JFC season 2!

MemberCompsognathusAug-01-2014 10:54 PMI agree with all of yours hipho, except the victor of Tarbo vs. therizino. There is such a slim chance of tarbosaurus beating therizinosaurus, that to have tarbo win is preposterous.
Just going to let that sink in.

MemberCompsognathusAug-01-2014 11:55 PM@HPP anky is not as large as you may think, or able to cause as much damage to tyrannosaurus as you might have thought...allow me to demonstrate;
The largest known skull measures 64.5 centimeters (25 in) long and 74.5 cm (29 in) wide. the estimates of 10 meters, 6 tons for Anky are too high. Ken carpenter recently re-described Anky at 6.25 meters long and 3-4 tons. The larger estimates came from some really old papers.
Here's a scale with the Tyrannosaurus based off of 1.5 meter skull.
Notice that the tail is disproportionaly short, too short to be overly dangerous for Tyrannosaurus. Don't forget that Ankylosaurus had short legs, wide body and armor, which made it very very very slow.
it's really weird. but beign that small it seems very unlikely for it to successfully defend itself. it would just need to be bigger, otherwise the blunt trauma it will cause cannot fatally harm something as big as rex.
@ Silver_Falcon That scale seems to be a bit off, a conservative Tarbo and a liberal maximum size therizino?
Tarbo vs Therizino is a predator/prey relationship. It most certainly would know how to deal with an animal like therizinosaurus. how exactly is it "Preposterous" for it to win?
Recently read the limbs of Therizinosaurs had a very limited range of motion, and although it had immense claws, they wouldn't be much use if there isn't a whole lot of follow through.
I do think this is not the mismatch others think, it would be rather close actually. Tarbo would probably come out on top 55% of the time.

MemberCompsognathusAug-02-2014 5:54 AMGuys, this is not a discussion about who you think would win. I think Anky would win I think tarb would win. It's not a debate about who would win! Your aloud to disagree with me but, please don't go and try and disprove my OPNION!!

MemberCompsognathusAug-02-2014 7:42 AMnot trying to change anyones opinions, calm down.
I just fail to see how you think ankylosaurus can substaintially injure, let alone kill a Tyrannosaurus

MemberCompsognathusAug-02-2014 7:51 AMTarbosaurus vs Tarchia heres an example of course it's Tarchia and Tarbo but, the size difference is basically the same.

MemberAllosaurusAug-02-2014 9:14 AMWell, an Ankylosaurus could very well be capable of injuring a Tyrannosaurus.

MemberCompsognathusAug-02-2014 9:45 AM@ sci- fi injuring, yes. Substaintially? not likely. Just look at the size comparison i posted. Ankylosaurus tail is disproportional to its body, where as in Tarchia, an extant relative, the tail is longer and more manueverable. Tarchia giganteus also has proportionally longer legs, and less armor then that of Ankylosaurus. MAking it a more agile animal overall. Tarbosaurus would most likely have more trouble with this ankylosaur rather then its relative dealing with Anky.
Anky is just too small to defend itself sucessfully against a tyrannosaurus intent on eating it is my main point, and i believe i've supported that claim rather well. Y'all don't have to believe it, but the evidence is right there in front of you.
