"Crocodile Mimic"
Length: 11 meters
Weight: 3.5 tons
Era: Early Cretaceous
Suchomimus looks like a crocodile on steroids. It spends the majprity of it's life in the shallow waters of isla Nublar, eating a variety of sharks and rays, and even the occasional crocodile. It has next to no competition, and because of this their numbers have exploded in recent years. They are somewhat social animals, especially when prey is plentiful. There has been as many as thirty of the species on one stretch of beach. Suchomimus doesn't tolerate other spinosaurids for some odd reason, and have been documented as "ill-tempered" by Ingen field scientists.
Bistahieversor
"Bistahi destroyer"
Length: 9 meters
Weight: 1.5 tons
Era: Cretaceous
A derived Tyrannosaur newly resurrected by Ingen scientists, this Tyrannosaur is a sleek, long legged version of Tyrannosaurus rex, who it pre-dated by millions of years. Bistahieversor live in small family groups, consisting of a male, female, and the young. The young do not stay for much more then a year in most cases, being forced out of the territory by their fathers.
Here we go..
The cold winter winds bit shrewdly at the pebbled reptilian flesh of the male Bistahieversor. He shrivered violently against it, for he had not felt anything like it in the short amount of time he had been on the fertile soils of Nublar. As the winds howled, the unwelcoming chill embraced him in its wintry embrace. He stepped down the rocky hill leading down into the ravine that emcompassed his new territory. For all he could tell, it went on for miles.
As he walked by a large conifer tree, pterosaurs took to the air locked in unorganized panic. Their bodies collided with each other as they took to the air, sending individuals erradically spiraling in various directions. He watched this for a brief moment, before he went down to squat behind a large pile of boulders. He came here for one reason: Food. The Corythosaurus herd that came through his territory on their annual migration were just about at the ravine - this is a fact his primative brain had retained for several years now- The Hadrosaurs offered an easy meal, especially the young ones.
He squatted on his haunches, his calfs taught at the fringe of action, his jaws dripping with saliva. A large cloud of flies surrounded his massive skull, trying to get at the bits of flesh stuck between his dagger like teeth. He shook in annoyance, but maintainted watch on the oncoming hadrosaurs.
What came next was unexpected
The Corythosaurs began to bellow, and in the blink of an eye, began to run in fear. They were rather fast for such large animals, and the tyrannosaur had to search frantically for a target if he was going to eat today. His eyes fell on something, but it wasn't a four legged plant eater.
It was a Suchomimus, about seven years of age and massive by spinosaurid standards. He had caused the frantic stampede as he made his way to the waters edge. Unbeknownst to the young Tyrannosaur, this had been the Suchomimus' territory for years. His scars showed his years, and his experience in dealing with other predatory dinosaurs.
The Bistahieversor stepped boldly from his ambush spot, growling lowly and keeping his snout facing down. He took hesitant steps towards the rival predator as it turned to face him. The Spinosaur roared defiantly at his challenger, extending his talon tipped arms in either direction in an attempt to make himself look larger.
This did not dissuade the brash young tyrant lizard.
He began to walk in a tight circle around the Spinosaur, stepping in every once in a while...testing the fish eater for any weakness.
The Suchomimus had by then backed slowly into the water, the rippling sensation around his toes was unnerving for the situation he now found him self in.
The Tyrannosaur rushed him, its boxy head colliding in the center of the Spinosaurs chest. Both combatants were sent reeling for a short distance, but the suchomimus found traction faster then the Bistahieversor. As the Tyrannosaur kept reeling, the Spinosaur lurched at him. He dug his talons into the Tyrannosaurs back, ripping them in a downward direction and creating gruesome lacerations.
The Bistahieversor turned on a dime. He took up the Suchomimus' arm with suprising agility, crushing the arm bones like they were toilet paper. The Spinosaur roared in agony and tryed to rench his arm out of the Bistahi destroyers mouth.
To no avail.
The Tyrannosaur used his position to his advantage, charging forward and sending the Spinosaur under water. He pounced on him, trying to get at his throat.
His attacks were thwarted by the manic swatting on the part of the Suchomimus, who had just dug three fingers into the Tyrannosaurs neck. He jumped back, freeing himself from the searing pain that was now only a duller sensation. And now the Spinosaur was coming at him like a bat out of hell.
He rammed into the Tyrannosaurs flank, sending him toppling into the water. He capitalized.
As the Bistahieversor was pulling his head from the water, the Suchomimus forced him back under. Putting one foot on the Bistahi destroyers back, the Spinosaur held him there until he drown.
For being such a brutal scene, there was little sound in the air. The crickets had stopped chirping, the Pterosaurs and birds were all but theirselves in the calm afternoon heat. All that was to be heard was the frightened shrieks of the derived tyrannosaur...then, nothing..
And the winner is...Suchomimus!
Authors note: The Tyrannosaur was too small to take on the Spinosaur 1 v 1. Though Bistahieversor was surely a powerhouse, it was no match for the larger theropod in this case.
Odds: 65-35 in favor of Suchomimus.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

For the odds thing, don't you mean 65-35 in Sucho's favour?
