MemberBrachiosaurusJul-16-2014 10:34 AMI am catching up to JW now, as I was paying more attention to Godzilla and Godzilla-Movies.com, so recently I said Malcolm could return as a main character, but Colin said it wouldnt be nice if those characters where always sandwiched into the same position. But who said anything about a minor role.
Like here is my version: 2006
Ian Malcolm invites Alan over for dinner. Alan meets Sarah and Malcolms daughter (I think she was 13 during JP2, so now she would probably be 22). Upon hearing of Jurassic's Worlds development, Malcolm and Alan travel to Isla Nublar to confront Hammand and Henry, where they try to persuade them, however Hammand says this will work as it has been 13 years and technology has developed. Alan says he wont be there when it backfires and Malcolm says again "Life finds a way".
12 Years later (2015)
Once the D Rex is killed, Hammond phones Malcolm for transport due to the D Rex destroying all choppers. He organises a chopper and picks them up.
So as you can see, they werent sandwiched into that position, minor roles yet enough to please fans.
Bonus Question 1:
Will John Hammond return???
Chances are unlikely as Richard Attenborough is now 90!!! But he could return through facial CGI and his voice work
Bonus Question 2:
Will JW be the last installment in the JP franchise???
Its still early to tell but I don't see how they could add another installment. If this is the last JP movie, Colin is damn hell making sure its going out with a BANG!!!!

I know that but I think Hammond will be involved 1 way or another, even now making a cameo happy that his dream came true. He maybe even working as a tour guide and being referenced as the mastermind behind the Jurassic World/Park ZOO like environment

Thank you.
That and Richard is OVER 90 years old, has been confined to a wheel chair for 5 years and is living in a home for the elderly in London right now.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJul-16-2014 11:44 AMGODZILLA316 - I'd very much like to see Dr. Malcolm return to the Jurassic Park scene. That being said, I believe I've heard news that he would not been involved in Jurassic World. As For Hammond: given the fact that Richard Attenborough placed himself within an elderly home within London (my lovely city), I've a feeling he won't be involved as well. Of course, one can always hope! Fingers crossed! :)

MemberCompsognathusJul-16-2014 12:00 PMIf anything, either we will see some sort of cameo, even if it's for his funeral because they might just kill him off, or maybe background on how patel bought the rights or what have you from ingen. I don't think we'll see many returning characters, with the exception of Dr. Wu.
