The Megaraptor is hunting. She's had good luck since her previous battle. She took over the Acrovenator territory, and prey is plentiful. She saw something ahead of her, and quickly caught up to it, ready to attack.

The Allosaurus is also hunting. Animals tend to avoid the mountain he calls his territory, so he had to go to to foreign ground to get a meal. He had been hunting for an hour when some rustling in the bushes got his attention.

The Allosaurus turned around and looked. He saw the Megaraptor, and he roared. The Megaraptor stepped into the clearing and roared back. The Allosaurus was surprised that he was challenged, but he growled a warning to her. The Megaraptor reared up and swung her arms in the air. The Allosaurus reared up and did the same. Both went back to their defensive stances.

They started walking in circles. Both were hungry, and both confident they could win. The Allosaurus charged, and the Megaraptor sidestepped. She slashed the Allosaurus's side, leaving long wounds down the side of his chest. The Allosaurus roared again, and the Megaraptor roared back. The Allosaurus wasn't sure why, but the Megaraptor's roar sounded different. It sounded more like a call for help than a challenge.

The Allosaurus mock charged, and the Megaraptor jumped back. The Allosaurus charged for real, and the Megaraptor managed to avoid the worst of the attack. She was hit hard enough to knock her down, but she damaged the Allosaurus at the same time. Blood poured out of the Allosaurus's leg, and the Megaraptor stood up with some difficulty. She landed awkwardly on her knee, and now her left leg doesn't bend all the way. The Allosaurus turned to face her, and she was putting more weight on her right leg.

The Allosaurus roared and charged. The Megaraptor braced for impact, and she was headbutted. She landed at the edge of the clearing, and the Allosaurus walked over to her. She coughed up blood and looked at the Allosaurus. The Allosaurus looked her in the eye. She tried to stand up, but the Allosaurus simply pushed her back down. He was deciding wether he should finish her off quickly, or slowly. That's when the attack came.

A second Megaraptor attacked from the side. He was the female's mate. He slashed the Allosaurus's head and then ran to the side. He started slashing his neck and chest, and the Allosaurus was surprised by the sudden attack. While the male was attacking, the female left as quickly as she could. The male was relentless with his attack, and the Allosaurus fought back. He shoved the male into the treeline and roared. He looked for him, but the Megaraptor was gone as fast as he appeared.

Winner........... Allosaurus

Larger and stronger, the Allosaurus had an obvious advantage.
